My husband and I did the Classic Brew Tour through Burlington yesterday, and we could not be more impressed with the City Brew Tours experience - the caliber of the tour itself, the breweries we visited, and our tour guide all exceeded our expectations. The cost was more than reasonable for the beer and food that were included. The booking process was simple and smooth; the tour ran efficiently without us feeling rushed. Our guide, Kianna, was warm, funny, knowledgeable, and made the experience memorable. Her narration of the history of beer in between stops was humorous and educational! Lastly, each of the breweries we visited were welcoming and friendly, and the brews and food we sampled were top-notch. Traveled to VT from the midwest, reached out to a company looking for a guide to ride with my 15 year old son. First company didn't respond, but Rick was super responsive, identified our need for a fast guide to ride with our son & arranged for everything. The communication was amazing, the speed with which he was able to find a guide & set everything up was top notch. Very impressed with Rick's customer service. Also my son had an absolute blast with Coach Mike - perfect fit & beyond our expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 4 Points VT for your mountain biking needs - you won't be disappointed!!! Our tour was awesome and Natalia our tour guide was pleasant and very knowledgeable. We did the Waterbury/Stowe day tour and the places we went the foliage was awesome. We went to Ben& Jerry’s, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Trapp family Lodge, smugglers Notch, Stowe Village and to Emily’s Covered Bridge. A day full of beauty, fun places and the best tour guide we’ve ever had. She made sure everyone saw what they wanted to see and knew her way that whole area to be sure everything was on schedule. Vermont Bike & Brew's Harpoon Brewery Tour was a memorable experience marked by scenic views, yummy lunch, and a good workout, capped off with great beer flights and snacks at Harpoon Brewery! The e-bikes were in mint condition, easy to use, and definitely helped some of the steeper hills of the backroads that gave us remarkable views of the mountains and the start of the foliage season. Lunch at Brownsville Butcher & Pantry was a great midpoint stop for our 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ride (we recommend the fried chicken sandwich and kale grain bowl). Ending the tour at Harpoon Brewery with beer flights (and snacks) was a wonderful way to decompress from the nearly 30-mile bike ride. Jonas (owner of Vermont Bike & Brew) was fantastic from the beginning, going above and beyond with his customer service, communication, and friendliness. We highly recommend Vermont Bike & Brew and hope we can do another one in the future!See more..
I took my two boys, aged 12 and 10, for an e-bike adventure. Well, it turned out to be a wonderful 4th July evening. The e-bikes were very well maintained and Kyle was great at explaining how they worked, to both me and my boys. After the 16 mile, super fun ride around the Norwich Hills, we joined Kyle, Jayne, Eric, Andrea, and MaKensi for a BBQ, camp fire and S'mores. We hung out later into the evening and had the best time playing corn hole & volleyball with some of the thru hikers, and finished the evening watching the fireworks while swimming in the river. What a welcoming and fun team. We felt like part of the crowd and they were wonderful at embracing my kids energy. I would recommend renting bikes, kayaks and other equipment from these guys.
