    - Soaring over the Mad River Valley like an eagle

The very friendly and highly professional staff made my first glider experience ever a very memorable way to end a vacation in the Mad River Valley of Vermont. Soaring along the ridges on the thermal drafts was a thrilling experience, capped by a small adrenalin rush as we (intentionally) bumped onto the grass beside the runway at the end of the journey. Bring a camera: the views were gorgeous, and the pilot's commentary helped orient me to what I was seeing. The staff shows a total commitment to safety and to customer service. Recommended especially for families with teens, but really for anyone. Very enjoyable. See more..

    - Brilliant ..... do it !

Absolutely amazing, we were gifted the flight by our daughter and, as we were all on vacation together, we were committed to taking the flight at a fixed time. We were concerned that the weather was not going to be suitable as storms and heavy rain were forecast, however, Jason and Matt maintained contact with us during the day and improved conditions meant we were able to go ahead as planned. We were met at the pontoon by our pilot Matt who ran through some basic safety points with us. Then the flight which was incredible, Matt pointing out locations as we cruised above the lake and islands, we flew up to the Canadian border and he pointed out the Montreal skyline on the horizon before flying back to base and a smooth landing. An amazing experience which we would recommend to anyone. Thank you Seaplanes R Fun for an unforgettable afternoon. See more..
  3. 5.0 Stowe Soaring (1 review)
    - Get a new perspective on Stowe
    Air Tours
My family (middle-aged couple, 20-something kids) had a wonderful time with Stowe Soaring. It's a small, low-key operation, but they clearly know what they're doing. Friendly, safety-conscious, and dedicated to giving you your money's worth on a glider ride. Not cheap, but given that several people and two aircraft (the glider and the tow plane) are required to deliver your ride the price is entirely fair. The cockpit is definitely tight for two passengers of any size, but once you're up viewing the scenery you don't even notice. Our 20 minutes of soaring over the hills and fields in near-silence were a highlight of our summer trip to Stowe. See more..
