5.0Whistling Man Schooner Company(988 reviews) - Smooth Sailing on Lake Champlain Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Historical & Heritage Tours • Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Boat Rentals
We had the most wonderful time on a classic sloop called Friend Ship yesterday sailing with Diddy and Yeo out of Burlington, VT. After a quick, but thorough safety talk, we set sail on what the Captain called a “Goldilocks”day with perfect wind conditions. Diddy and Yeo worked seamlessly together to give us the smoothest sail we have ever experienced. The 2 hr trip was filled with interesting facts and lore about Lake Champlain and the surrounding area. We ate our lunch and then enjoyed putting our feet in the water as we explored the lake. If you plan on visiting the Burlington area, we highly recommend making a reservation online. We got one of the last time slots available for the week we visited so reserve early and don’t miss out. It was definitely a highlight of our vacation and we will be back next year.See more..
4.0Spirit of Ethan Allen(767 reviews) - A great way to end the day Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours
We did a sunset cruise to end our day in Burlington. It was chilly outside that evening, but the boat offers plenty of indoor space to keep warm, if needed. The food was good and the drinks were great. Plenty of photo opportunities.See more..
5.0Burlington Segways(359 reviews) - The Burlington Segway tour covers a lot of distance like a hop-on-hop-off tour but with the intimacy of a walking tour. Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Segway Tours • Historical & Heritage Tours • Sightseeing Tours
Rick’s knowledge and oration of Burlington’s history while touring around on the Segway was equivalent to watching a great documentary on the city. We learned how to navigate with the Segway and I would put the experience up there with the best Hop-on-hop-off tour. It is a must if you are coming in to Burlington.See more..
John from ATA made our weekend camping trip to Vermont exciting. We did the Caving and Kayaking adventure. We were new to caving, so we did a cave that wasn’t too difficult. Still, the ability to stretch and lift yourself up a little is required. It was challenging and fun, exactly what my girlfriends and I were looking for. Kayaking was done in a gentle river, and it was like paddling through a maze. I highly recommend booking these activities if you’re looking for something to do on your trip. John is friendly and easygoing and he offers a variety of activities from sightseeing to caving!See more..
5.0Vermontology Guided Tours(210 reviews) - Vermontology is the best Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Multi-day Tours • Cultural Tours • Beer Tastings & Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Day Trips
Our tour was awesome and Natalia our tour guide was pleasant and very knowledgeable. We did the Waterbury/Stowe day tour and the places we went the foliage was awesome. We went to Ben& Jerry’s, Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Trapp family Lodge, smugglers Notch, Stowe Village and to Emily’s Covered Bridge. A day full of beauty, fun places and the best tour guide we’ve ever had. She made sure everyone saw what they wanted to see and knew her way that whole area to be sure everything was on schedule. She also made sure we had some shopping time and look around time snd did not feel rushed. Check out her web site for Vermontology. It’s awesome and you will have the best day of your life.See more..

Can’t say enough about how cool of an experience this was. The dogs were so friendly and obviously love what they do. The trail they used was beautiful, with bridges and rivers, although I spent most of the time looking at the dogs. My wife rode in the sled and I stood on the back (felt like a real musher!) This was an experience we won’t forget, and I highly recommend it!See more..
