3 Star Places To Visit in Washington, United States (50)
3.5Tulalip Casino(574 reviews) - Okay needs an Amphitheatre Casinos
We went to a concert in the Orca Ballroom the sound was good and the live feed was excellent. The venue is small 680 people and it's not set up for this type of show. The seats were foldable seats and since the floor was not sloped or designed for shows at times it was difficult to see. They should consider building an amphitheatre for the shows. Casino itself was clean some of the bathrooms need renovation they were showing their age....with the new EQC opening up might be time to investing in a few updates! See more..
3.5Quinault Beach Casino(497 reviews) - One of the better hotels on the WA coast Casinos
Nice rooms, clean and comfortable. Well appointed with plenty of room for a couples get-a-way. The only part we didn't like was the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke in the lobby and check-in area. Not bad if you stay in your room but after one weekend everything we had smelled like smoke.See more..

3.5Snoqualmie Casino(361 reviews) - Great Safety In Place Thursday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Casinos
Went here in mid June right after they reopened. For the most part, I was pleased with the health safety measures that they have in place- temperature check, limited entry, limited number on elevator, masks, and so on. Only thing I didn’t see enough of that day was machines being cleaned. I also was disappointed that they are allowing smoking inside which means a lot more masks off and germs on machines. Smokers constantly touch there mouths and then the machines.....See more..

3.5Northern Quest Casino(317 reviews) - Great venue for concerts Thursday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 AM Spent More than 3 hours Casinos
Great venue for a concert. Casino is well appointed. You must reserve a table for dinner well in advance, especially if there is a concert that night. The dealers could be nicer - didn't engage at all at the roulette tables. A lot of people smoking but ventilation is so good that you can hardly smell it. A good place to go for a night of entertainment.See more..

3.5Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad(249 reviews) - Polar Express was very fun and top-notch production Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Rail Tours
We did the Polar Express ride and it was great. Our kids, 5 and 3 years old, love the movie. I thought the experience was very professionally done and it was sweet, whimsical, and fun. The cast of characters were great. The interior of the train is decorated nicely. We loved the mementos we received. It takes a while to get into and out of the parking lot.See more..

3.5Little Creek Casino(194 reviews) - Superbowl night Spent More than 3 hours Casinos
The room was a deluxe non-smoking king bed. Beautiful and clean! The bed was firm, just right for me. To much for the hubby. There was a chair and a desk chair but no table to set at and have our in room coffee. And no microwave. Have to ask for a super deluxe for a table chairs and microwave. The k cup coffee profided was Tullys. But the little creamers were more of a cheap ass whitener. Nasty. I suggest you hit the island grill before they close and ask them for some real creamer. Or get an Americano at the espresso stand in the lobby. It was $8.for 2 lg. But it was awesome coffee! Wonderful stay. The coffee/creamer, no microwave and no table and chair are the reason I didn't give 5 stars. We had breakfast at island grill. Very good. Coffee was just o.k. Probably because the espresso stand coffee was so good. Lol. We had Bloody Marias and nachos at the sports bar/Mexican tequila bar. Very good!See more..
3.5Shuttle Express(173 reviews) - Good service Spent < 1 hour Taxis & Shuttles
Very friendly and courteous drivers. Clean vehicles. The only complaint I would have is that I wasn't able to book online. The site wouldn't accept my credit card. I had to call and was on hold for awhile. But, I would use again. See more..
3.5Alaska Lounge(173 reviews) - So worth $25 Thursday: 5:00 AM - 12:00 AM Airport Lounges
I used to love visiting the Alaska Lounge on the rare occasions that I was flying first class. Little did I know that with my Alaska Airlines Visa I can purchase a day pass for $25.... so worth it. Traffic from my house is so unpredictable, so now I have a routine - leave early and if I happen to breeze through traffic, go relax at the lounge - so worth the $25. There are so many chairs to relax, and compared to the loud busy airport, this feels so laid back. The drinks are good - I always go for a bloody mary, and depending on the time of day, the lounge allows for a relaxing breakfast, lunch, or snack. And from this lounge the views of the planes are great too!See more..
Beautiful Venue! No lines waiting for restroom. Food and Drinks are pricey. We used the underground parking and got out easy. The sound system is great! If you have GA tickets bring a BIG blanket! Others will stand and crowd you out otherwise. We brought 9 inch high chairs but they would not let us use them.See more..

Lucky Eagle Casino was large and clean. An attendant showed us where the older slots were so we knew if we “won” vs new machines that had advanced algorithms and you couldn’t tell why you won or didn’t. Staff was lacking, just seemed short. Buffet was pricey $25 pp and not impressive. Steak house had an hour wait. Took about 45 mins to get a pizza that was undercooked. Still, now we’ve been and now we know.See more..
3.5Skagit Valley Casino(109 reviews) - Surprised to find Buffet closed until 11 am, but Express has great fare Casinos
I was very surprised to find that the Market Buffet didn't have any type of breakfast service so was shut until 11 am. There is a small cafeteria type area which is named Express and I had a ham and cheese croissant that was nothing short of heavenly. The price was reasonable, the staff was very friendly, the seating was ample and comfortable and I didn't miss the buffet too much at all!See more..
If you're looking for a fun day for the kids, try a different place. This isnt a Zoo, it's a refuge. It's a place to learn what NOT to do when owning big animals. Bad decisions pets now live here, alone, sad and very visibly bored. Unfortunately, they operate solely off donations so they don't have nearly what they should. Adults & children should visit with the intention of learning & helping. I hope they get more help.See more..

We had ice cream here after dinner. The waffle cones were done of the best we've tasted. The ice cream was really good too with many choices. The servings and cones were quite large and a bit expensive but we indulged. $14 for 2 cones . Can't imagine what a family's bill would be. But there is always McDonald's. See more..

3.5Amtrak Cascades(64 reviews) - A long day but worth it Public Transportation Systems
This was a very comfortable train trip in the business class section of the train. We were hoping for more views of the cost but obviously we didn’t do our homework in understanding this is not possible. Carriage clean and comfortable and service very good. At the time of our trip we had to transfer to the bus at Seattle to complete the journey to Vancouver. This made it a long day but the drive was very good at keeping us entertained from time to time. Driver was very helpful in explaining the border crossing procedures. Believe the train now travels all the way to Vancouver.See more..
A usual stop when looking for gifts. On this trip, went to: Under Armour; Polo while wife went to Chico's. Had lunch at the nearby Arby's. Mall has a lot of good stores. Just bring an umbrella or rain gear along when its typical NW rainy weather, as 1/2 the shops are under roof while the others are not.See more..

3.5Shoalwater Bay Casino(50 reviews) - Very good for a small casino Thursday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM Casinos
A little smoky but for a small casino pretty good. Slots are a little tight but that can be expected considering the location. Two non smoking slots rooms. Deli is OK but not like larger casinos! Staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Nice bar with good prices. Plenty of drawings and offers! Worth joining players club, points paid for my gasoline!See more..
We stayed here for a recent baseball tourney. Never stayed here before but the pictures made the place look nice. We reserved an RV space with full hook ups. Arrived Friday evening. Ranger at front gate was super friendly. The park is very green and spacious. Probably one of the nicer State Parks I've stayed in here in Washington. Our space was decent, nice and flat...didn't have to do much to level the RV. The proximity to the baseball fields in town was great too. I'm sure we will have more tournaments here in the future and I would for sure skip the high price of the hotels and stay here again.See more..

3.5Old Bicycle in the Tree(46 reviews) - Some idiot vandalized this Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks
Some idiot recently vandalized the bike in tree. August 2014. They cut off the front wheel and handlebars. It's still cool to see but, unfortunately the splayed skins of the vandals responsible are not yet on display. If I had my way the next new Vashon attraction would be the bleached carcasses of the culprits.See more..
3.5Carson Hot Springs Spa(44 reviews) - Very beautiful setting to relax in Hot Springs & Geysers • Spas
Really great place to stay. We had a room with the hot tub on the balcony and we loved it. Was a little bit said that the soaking pool was for only 18 or over, my 17 year old son wanted to go try it. Also was very disappointed that all the massage appointments were already taken. You should offer as part of the booking to also schedule a message. But all in all had a very nice time. It was our first time here and will likely be back.See more..
3.5Fox Hollow Farm(44 reviews) - Issaquah WA Fox Hollow Farm Farms
This place is an amazing farm with many holiday activities! 4 generations enjoyed the animals, patch, decorations, pony and tractor rides, kids activities. However, my daughter and I went a few years ago and at that time the price was reasonable for admission and the place was well kept! Now it is quite expensive and I feel not as charming as it once was. Getting a bit run down and dirty in the play houses. Over crowded at times as well.See more..
Great food for the cost. Typical casino, although as a non-smoker, I hated the stink in the dining area. Sad walking through to see all the smoking zombies throwing their money into machines.See more..
I went with a friend just to soak in the indoor mineral bath in the afternoon. I had never been before, so did not have high expectations, plus, I could tell from pictures it is older. We had a relaxing time. The prices for soaking for a couple of hours were reasonable and the facility was clean and well maintained. We did not stay overnight so I can't speak to that part. It's a beautiful drive from Portland and a nice stop on a lazy Saturday afternoon. There were other people, but it didnt feel crowded.See more..

3.5Daffodil Bowl(36 reviews) - Fun Family Outing Thursday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Bowling Alleys
Had a great time with the family on New Year's. A fairly average bowling alley. Has a good selection of food available, not anything to get excited over, mainly your standard bowling alley food. I wish that the Rockin Bowling was actually rock music, it was a lot of pop music. Excellent value and fun time. Staff are very nice and friendly. The shoe sizes run large (at least for the women's) I wore a size smaller than normal.See more..
3.5Back Country Horse Rides(36 reviews) - A ride on the beach! Spent 1-2 hours Horseback Riding Tours
I have always wanted to ride horseback on the beach, now I can say I have. Yes, it was a very controlled ride. In previous reviews I noticed some people griping about not "being matched with their riding ability". I grew up on a ranch and have a pretty exceptional ability--I also understand just how risky riding horses can be and how easily someone can get hurt-and they only have so many horses. I understand they can't really have "high spirited" horses and take the chance someone wouldn't be able to ride and get hurt. I was very pleased with my horse and I was riding with my granddaughter (2.5yo) it was a big old draft horse. He behaved very well and the ride was quite enjoyable. Would I loved to have been able to take off at a gallop through the water? Sure, but you just can't when you're in a group situation like this. The "wranglers" were quite nice and helpful to those in the group who had zero experience. I would definitely visit and ride with them again. See more..
3.5Rainbow Falls State Park(35 reviews) - Lovely forest, Waterfall and River State Parks • Parks
Lovely forest with a nice 3 mile trail system. Good access to the Willapa Trail but the park trail system was across the river and across Highway 6. We would have preferred to walk there from the campsite rather than drive but there are no sidewalks. The best views of the waterfall were from the Highway 6 side too. Our visit was at the end of September so the water level was not high and the waterfall not as full as it would be early season. No rainbow for us. Not creating much mist and was cloudy on our morning. Lots of good swimming holes but the basalt is rugged.. There is a nice big field to play ball, throw a Frisbee or just hang out in the sun - the rest of the area is shady. In a busy season this campground would be pretty crowded and the restroom only had 3 stalls and was quite a walk if you were camped on the far side. Very nice for an off season visit. .See more..
Located just on the outskirts of Lynden, Homestead Golf and Country Club winds its way across what was once fertile dairy land and is now one of the real surprises of Northwest Washington golf. This is a true resort course, with wide landing areas and multiple tees for the recreational golfer and length, doglegs and hidden hazards to challenge players with some game. And it is the only course in Washington with a par five that plays into an island green. This beautiful finishing hole has been voted best par 5 finishing hole in the state. We welcome you to join us.See more..
Just got back from seeing "Van Halen" at this Venue. The show was FANTASTIC, and the venue is Top Notch. The "Only" issue, was getting out of the Parking Lot. 90 minutes to get back to I5 is a little bit of an issue. I think that more than "One-Way" out should be looked at. Just my opinion, since I have been to almost every major venue in the US.See more..

3.0The Outlet Shoppes(28 reviews) - Many stores gone, but great deals at remaiing shops, especially Nike Spent 2-3 hours Factory Outlets • Shopping Malls
This mall was mainstay for Canadians before the dollar dropped. So it is only half full, but the Nike and Lululemon stores are still excellent. The Nike store is a clearance store so it will not have the same items ans the factory store, but has some great deals. I suggest stopping here before Seattle Premium outlets and searching for shoes. I got some good running shoes for $20 that and the same shoes $60 at Premium outlet Nike store.See more..
3.5Berliner Pub(27 reviews) - A great German pub a soccer hang out Thursday: 4:00 PM - 1:00 AM Bars & Clubs Established in 2011, Berliner Pub is a German inspired gastropub in downtown Renton. Featuring an impressive line-up of 20 imported German beers on tap, as well as a full bar and wine list. We spent a day at the waterslides with my 3 & 13 year old. There was a toddler area with two larger slides for kids that went slower and then one very small wide slide. It was perfect for her because the water was shallow at the bottom and the slides didn't go too fast. For the adults plenty of faster slides, I especially liked the cannon ball or whatever it was called, chutes you down fast in the dark, or the red toilet bowl looking one was also great! My few complaints would be the washrooms, just nasty! They need to do a reno in the bathroom, floors were discusting, toilets didn't flush properly and the lockers were old and run down. Also, the hot tub was not very warm. Food was good but not enough staff working in the food area made for very long line ups.See more..
This course is well laid out so you don't feel as though you are playing next to others in the next fairways. The course was challenging and well maintained. The cost brings many Canadians across the border to play this course.See more..
3.5Vasa Park Resort(26 reviews) - Little Jewel on the Lake Thursday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Parks
Vasa Park is a very small RV park with only 7 full hook up sites and about 15 partial sites located on the shore of beautiful Lake Sammamish, Washington. Sites are level, grassed and comfortable. The managers are friendly and helpful, the fdacilities are very clean and well maintained. Space availability is limited, both bys the size of the park and the popularity. Vasa is primarily a seasonal recreation facility and is quite often booked for large company functions and swim parties. Their rateas are quite reasonable and the park is quiet as it's not near a frreway or major thoroughfare. Pet restrictions are a bit severe but ereasonable for the main park usage. We try to return every year for a week or so as it is very convenient to downtown Bellevue, WA. We stayed here in October in a 40' motorhome, towing.See more..
