Five of us spent a full day out on the trails mountain biking and had a blast. Tom gave some great instruction but also let us get as adventurous as we wanted. We hope he survived his bachelor party that weekend...Bikes were also top notch, full suspension Diamondbacks that did the job well. First half of the day was at Duthie Hill which is basically a MTB playground. Well done people of Seattle for getting organized to build all these great trails that are free to the public. After a quick stop at the Snoqualmie Falls and getting some Twin Peaks history we had our boxed lunches back at the shop. Wasn’t expecting much but food was quite good. Second half of the day we went to Olallie Park for a mighty climb then long, fast descent. I don’t think we were prepared for how intense the climb would be, but the payoff was well worth it. I’d definitely recommend a private trip with Compass for a memorable experience with friends. Would work for any skill level.See more..

What a great place! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The guy who got us on the road with the mopeds was thorough and patient, a natural teacher. They have everything you need to hit the road, helmets, gloves and glasses, as well as the education, and all included in the cost of the rental. Fabulous Float and a Fun Time. Safety first with a well written website, cleansing stations, plastic on the van seats, PPE and sanitizer available as well as competent staff all inspired confidence. Safe navigation instructions for the river were given verbally and signs with bouys marked the way to go. It was easy to fill in all the online forms and pay. Everyone on the staff we chatted with were friendly and informative. We brought our own equipment and it was transported safely. A great way to get around Stehekin is to rent bikes such as to go to Rainbow Falls, about 3 miles from Stehekin Landing. On the same trip we were interested in hiking the Agnes Gorge Trail so we were able to rent an ATV to get to the trail head that was about 12 miles from Stehekin. The most fun you can have on snow! Skiing, sledding, snowboarding, snowshoeing, etc. They’re all great! However, I’ve never had an experience like this. It was a combination of rip roaring fun down the straightaway. And absolute peace, beauty and tranquility when we would pause at creek crossings and mountain tops. My daughter, her boyfriend and I reserved and rented 3 jet skis on our last stay, after a bad experience with a competitor (see previous review). This was a flawless and great experience. No $1000 deposit per jet ski required, no ludicrous requirements of staying 100 ft or more away from each other. The staff was helpful and friendly, we loved our jet skis and had no issues whatsoever. They were fast and lots of fun! We gassed them up before returning them and went on our way after a great morning on the water! They are a little more expensive than Jet Skis Ahoy, but it was worth it! I’d recommend reserving a few days before your trip, they are unusually and incredibly busy right now. We were lucky to get what we got. The staff there were very nice and accommodating. They have nearly everything for you that you just need to check in with the front desk at the parking lot and then the attendant will radio down to let them know you’re coming. When we went, it was a little bit windy, they asked if I was okay with paddleboarding and I said yes. Once I got into the water, I realized I made a mistake but the guy at the beach was super nice and offered me to switch to a kayak. I had really bad motion sickness and had to go back to shore sooner than I thought, but the guy at the beach was really understanding and I chatted up with him a little bit. Kudos to YSS's "Miss Saltwater Therapy" which flew 'thee black' for Saturday and Sunday diving, September 11 & 12, 2021. Great to have YSS Dive join in with our '2021 Talk Like A Pirate' Adventures. The 'pirates' of The Yakima Dive Club enjoyed diving Elephant Wall, Jordstad Creek, Pinacle and Flagpole. Hoist a couple for Captain John and Captain Steve. YSS's dive boat is great dive boat for four divers. Captain John and mate know the needs of cold water divers and assist prep for exiting and re-entry to the boat.
