The Jet Boat tour on the Snake River is a "must do" experience. It is the best way to see the river, wild animals, and petroglyphs, and much more, and to truly experience this area of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. You may think the price is a little high, but you get lot for this price. 8 hours of the boat ride as well as lunch, water and lemonade, and great narration by an experienced tour guide. I have done rafting trips before, but this jet boat is so much more comfortable, and you cover a lot more territory in the jet boat than you can with a floating trip (and you do not need to row). I really felt like I got my money's worth. The only way to see the 3 state corner (Idaho, Washington, and Oregon) is on this river. If you come to Lewiston, and miss this trip, you will have missed the best adventure in this entire area. Don't miss it!See more..

Our original tubing trip on the Lower Yakima was cancelled due to a nearby fire so we switched to kayaking on the Upper Yakima instead and I’m so glad it worked out that way. My teen sons and I loved having individual inflatable kayaks and had a blast during our three hours on the river! Pulled off to check out spooky tunnel #47 on the nearby Palouse to Cascades Trail, as well. Rill employees were very responsive, organized, and friendly, and the equipment was clean and well maintained. Would definitely rent from them again.See more..

This is the second time I've ridden with Three Peaks Outfitters. Both times were excellent. All of the horses were beautiful, clearly well cared for, and easily trustable. Our guide this time was Sophie. She gave us a choice of locations. We ended up riding up through a beautiful quiet forest to a waterfall (I'm lost in this area so I can't say exactly where we were). Sophie really went the extra mile for us, and we tied up the horses and hiked down to a place where we ended up sitting on large rocks right at the base of the waterfall where it divided and created gorgeous pools, and it was surrounded by huge rock cliffs. It was stunning. Sophie made us lunch while we climbed around and took photos. The ride was the perfect length. It really was a perfect day!See more..
One of the best classes I've ever taken. Matt and Pablo taught us many skills to enter steep couloirs and terrain and we took those skills out and applied them by entering a 1100' couloir. They were both friendly, patient, and downright brilliant when it came to ski techniques. 100% would recommend taking this class to up your ski skills!See more..
We had a fabulous time with our river rafting trip with Outdoor Adventures! They went above and beyond accommodating our extended family. We had a very safe, fun trip. Several squirt guns provided lots of competition and laughter. The scenery is outstanding, the staff amazing! Some fun stops were made where the kids found clay to play with. Another stop was at a large rock we could jump off into the river. We will do it again sometime!See more..
Our family made the most of a short Summer vacation by staying local and making reservations at the North Cascades Institute for one night at BASE Camp, provided our dinner, then we woke up to breakfast as well. Following breakfast we caught the Skagit Tour on Lake Diablo. No hassels or worries, we just walked to the dock from NCI. Highly recommend you make ADVANCE reservations, as both venues fill up quickly.See more..

We truly enjoyed riding the Norwegian Fjord ponies for our trail ride with Cascade corral. We have done trail rides in the past at other vacation destinations and these horses were some of the nicest, sure footed, well-behaved trail horses. The scenery is gorgeous and some parts of the trail are a bit steep and rocky but these horses are so solid and sure that there were no worries. We even saw a mother bear and 2 cubs in the distance at one point! Great ride!See more..
Two of us had a great day on the Methow with Brandon, one of the owner/guides. We're both beginners here.We learned much about basic casts, reading the river, and fish biology. Caught some trout--well, one of us did : ). A very flexible guide service--willing to tailor the trip to meet our wants. Not a fancyservice--just local guides with lots of knowledge of local fishing and a genuine interest in giving you a great day on the river.
