Perfect Day!
This is the second time I've ridden with Three Peaks Outfitters. Both times were excellent. All of the horses were beautiful, clearly well cared for, and easily trustable. Our guide this time was Sophie. She gave us a choice of locations. We ended up riding up through a beautiful quiet forest to a waterfall (I'm lost in this area so I can't say exactly where we were). Sophie really went the extra mile for us, and we tied up the horses and hiked down to a place where we ended up sitting on large rocks right at the base of the waterfall where it divided and created gorgeous pools, and it was surrounded by huge rock cliffs. It was stunning. Sophie made us lunch while we climbed around and took photos. The ride was the perfect length. It really was a perfect day!

Full heart. Rejuvenating.
I enjoyed a half day ride with Michelle and a couple of others. I was solo so it was great to get to know the other riders. We rode to Cooper Lake up a beautiful path amongst greenery and tall evergreen trees. I haven't ridden a horse in over a decade! Benny (the horse I rode) was well mannered and responsive to my direction. All the horses were great. Michelle is friendly and enjoyable to converse with during the ride. She was attentive, always making sure everyone was riding safely and that we were all together. Midway we enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch next to the lake. The weather was ideal - though a bit hazy from nearby fires this season. The views of the lake were breathtaking. Even though I am a bit sore today (the day after the ride), it was totally worth it. My heart was full at the end of the ride.

Wildlife experience
Fantastic! What an awesome ride. My 10 yr old granddaughter and I were treated to a one of kind experience , lots of elk including calf’s on our ride. Our guide was very sensitive to not stressing the herd. Highly recommend .
