We liked this taproom so much, we came three times during our 36 hour holiday to Ocean Hours . The service, delicious beer (with a wide selection), space inside and out (heated toilet seats!), and fellowship we found here was delightful. On Saturday evening, our dog Nari had a blast running around outside on the grassy area with several other well-behaved local dogs while we chatted with their human guardians. We haven't seen her have as much fun with other dogs since we adopted her in March, so it was a magical time indeed. Our two Sunday visits were more subdued for all of us while we sat inside the tent, protected from the breeze, but there were still dogs to be met and connections to be made. Half Lion is a new brewery located on West Valley in Sumner. The place is big, with plenty of room to seat large groups. Its kid friendly and the staff is great. They have rotating food trucks out front and a huge TV for sporting events with lots of parking. There's a great selection of beers and cider here. We visit quite often.See more..

This is our second visit to Hoquiam Brewing, the first was in December 2020. We remembered good beer and very good pizza. Our visit yesterday (May 2021) was very good beer and excellent pizza. They upped their game and it’s noticeable. Their pale ale was very good and their chocolate stout was outstanding. Kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed the pizza (they do have other choices, we just love pizza). The Meats and a build your own; both excellent. Fresh ingredients, homemade crust and sauce. Legit! If you are on your way to or from the Coast for a beach vacation (traveling through Aberdeen) do not pass this place up. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. Indoor/outdoor seating.
