4.57 Seas Brewing(85 reviews) - Great beer, great view Thursday: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM Breweries
Stopped here on our way to Seattle on the recommendation of a friend and it was a GREAT choice. We are "those parents" who take our kids to breweries rather than miss out on trying a new-to-us tap room. The Hazy IPA was great, it was a beautiful view on a beautiful day, they lit a fire pit for us to sit around, there was root beer and apple juice for our dudes (13 and 11). We bought a ton of merch to bring back with us to Texas.See more..

4.5Island Hoppin' Brewery(48 reviews) - Locals Love It! Thursday: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Breweries
Started from a few carboys in our garage, we (Nate and Becca Schons) are the master brewer and mind behind IHB. With the help of our business partner at the time, Jim Parker, the 3 of us launched the very 1st brewhaus on Orcas Island in Washington State's San Juan Islands. Without losing touch with that original passion we upgraded to over 100bbl fermentation capacity. To this day, you can catch us hoisting grains in the back and passing it by mug to the customers in front.See more..
4.5Riverport Brewing Co(46 reviews) - Great place to visit, definitely stop in if you like beer!!! Breweries
We had a day trip into the Clarkston and Williamston area in March 2011 and stopped in here for a beer. We felt very welcome, and the owners here are great people. The beer was great, and they have lots of soft drinks to choose from too for kids (and no problem bringing in kids - free popcorn too!). They also sell brewers treats for dogs and we picked some up, and the dog we gave them too loved them. Highly recommended in you are in the area. The place is right next to the Wal-Mart in Clarkston. Checkout my pictures from here - we loved this place! Thanks for reading.See more..
My wife and I stopped in for a flight of beers recently. (OK it was really just me while my wife shopped nearby.) I'd seen this place previously on other visits to the area but the timing wasn't right. I made a point of visiting on this trip to Whidbey Island and was very happy I did. I got a flight of 4 beers (5 oz pours) and sat outside on a nice late summer day enjoying the cool breeze. The beers are very good and I'd definitely stop here again when we have family in town. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy a cold beer(s). This place is definitely worth visiting when you are on the island.See more..
This place is great! Brews after our ferry ride were next on the list for our Puget Sound adventure day. We made our short trip from the dock over to the brewery, coincidentally right next to a distillery. I ordered their Amber and my boyfriend sampled their "best IPA", both of which we loved. Beers come with a pint full of peanuts, satiating our mid-day munchies before dinner. The upstairs welcomed us with cozy couches, Farside books, and necessary outlets for charging our lifeless smartphones. I was happily surprised to see a hops bag from Bamberg Germany (another place close to my heart) hanging on the wooden cabin style wall upstairs . For their German beers, they actually important the hops from Germany! The brewery is super dog friendly, in fact a small horse sized dog (a big grey great dane ;) ) was sitting on the patio when we arrived. Enjoy!See more..
4.5Doghaus Brewery(45 reviews) - Great little brewery Thursday: 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
Leavenworth's smallest tasting room and nano brewery. Brewer owned and dog/kid friendly! We carry 8 brews on tap with a few regulars and a few rotators. More often than not you'll find the brewer's tending the tiny bar. We are a challenge to find in the basement of the old hospital building at the end of 9th Street by the river. Look for our sidewalk signs to guide you during our open hours!See more..

4.5Propolis Brewing(22 reviews) - Not a beer drinker....but Thursday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Breweries
Propolis Brewing~Seasonal Herbal Farmhouse Ales. Organic, Local & Wild-crafted. Propolis was established in June of 2012 with the sole intent to produce high-quality handcrafted herbal ales inspired by old world tradition, local resources and the rhythms of nature. Our ales are brewed with various wild-crafted herbs and are seasonally based. Many of our Ales blend several styles and are hard to classify by those that prescribe to the standards. We are primarily inspired by the farmhouse tradition of France and Belgium, as well as old world Ales that no longer exist. We are artists and scientists at heart and we aspire to challenge the norm. For thousands of years beer served as food and medicine; it had anti-septic, anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Old world ales were referred to as “gruits” and were created from various malted grains and bittering herbs. Proprietary herbal blends were passed down from generation to generation as was the knowledge of how each herb served to promote health throughout the year. We carefully selected local herbs and botanicals that bitter and flavor our ales. Our herbal blends are developed to harmonize with the spectrum of malt that shifts from light to dark with the sun and the harvest. The term “propolis” comes from two Greek words: “pro,” which means “before,” and “polis,” which means “city.” This ancient term came into being centuries ago when some early Greek student of Nature established the fact that honeybees use propolis to narrow the opening into their “cities,” or hives, to keep out unwelcome intruders. The term “Propolis” is a metaphor...a reference to a time long past. Propolis encourages us to look to our surroundings for inspiration and health. We strive towards managing a sustainable business. We source local and organic ingredients whenever possible and aim to work within the flow of the seasons as to promote others to find rhythm and balance within nature. We hand-craft all of our ales in extremely limit...See more..

There is an amazing brewery in Spokane, WA? Yup! My wife and I were staying at the nearby Montvale hotel, and stopped by Whistle Punk Brewing because it was close, and boy are we glad we did. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly and knowledgable. We each had a sampler of beers, and they were all very good! Perhaps we were ignorant to the craft brewing scene in Spokane, but we were very impressed by what we tried at Whistle Punk and would recommend it to anyone looking to get a drink in the Spokane area.See more..

The beer was quite good. We had a flight and liked each one. My favorite was the IPA.
