    - Ferry Fun and a Great View!
    Spent 2-3 hours Ferries

My friend and I found ourselves with some time to kill after the American Society of Echocardiography’s 2022 Scientific Session that were held in Seattle ended, so on Tuesday, after a lovely breakfast at Bacco’s, we decided we wanted to enjoy a view of the city from the water. The WSF from Seattle to Bainbridge Island offered a easy and inexpensive option for a quick jaunt across the sound and back before our flight. The purchase process was easy, embarking and disembarking was a breeze, the ferry was well kept up and clean with great decks for enjoying the view and meeting nice people (including a handsome stranger who we later saw at the airport, as well - pity I only got his first name and not his phone number…but I digress). Anyway, looking for a fun little no frills cruise? I recommend the ferry from Seattle to Bainbridge. See more..

We had a great trip out to Stehekin. Beautiful day, with lots of fun facts about the area thrown in. Plan your trip. We should have taken a lunch with us. There is a restaurant at the destination, but they were very busy and we felt like it was a bit pricey. See more..
  4. 4.0 Anacortes Ferry (146 reviews)
    - turn off your car alarm folks
    Ferries
    Anacortes Ferry image
loved visiting the island but the constant requests to turn off your car alarm that was going off seems like an opportunity lost on those running the Ferries. Communication to riders was less than ideal, especially for conditions that were not on time . expect parents who let their young kids run wild. the scenery is absolutely gorgeous See more..

We had no idea what we were doing. When we went to check it out, there were no more openings for the day. We went back to our room & bought a ticket for the next day. When we returned, I found out that our ticket was one way & that we needed to quickly get a return ticket back. One of the staff took me on to their computer & showed me what was available. Whew! So make sure you have a return ticket when you go. We just wanted a day trip so it all worked out fine.. It was great just to drive on the ferry, stay in the truck with our dog & enjoy a wonderful day. There are so many state parks to enjoy. It was a wonderful day! We are so glad we did it! See more..

I try to greet the full moon each month by being in the Columbia River on this dependable ferry. Timing my trip from Westport,Oregon to match the moonrise and the return trip is a double benefit. Cost: 4$ if you just ride; 12$ if you bring your car. Bring a hoodie and an open heart. All that is necessary. Simple pleasures Share my joy...do it! See more..

  8. 4.5 Faunterloy Ferry (20 reviews)
    - Efficient ride to Vashon Island
    Ferries
    Faunterloy Ferry image
My family took our car over the island via the ferry on Memorial Day. The cost for the ferry ride was expensive ($36 for our car, $5.55 for me and $2.75 for my son). But, the return ride back was at no additional cost. The ferries were fairly new and the ride was a short 20 mins. It was so short, we didn't get out of our car. See more..

The Paraclete is a great water taxi to get you, your family and friends to islands not serviced by the Washington State Ferry Service. Blakely, Decatur, Center, Cypress, Trump and others are serviced by the Paraclete. Prices are affordable, and the more people you bring with you, the less it costs per person. Customer service is excellent. Tristan always brings a strong crew and a smile. I have used the service dozens of times and recommend it highly. See more..
