    Gamble Sands image
We booked a Stay and Play package as it was the cheaper option. This option included a power cart (otherwise $25/person). The course was in excellent shape. Pro: ball rolls a long way Con: ball rolls a long way but then it ends up in a sand trap; THE COURSE NEEDS A GPS APP! Absolutely need to know distances to traps, and there are a lot of them. Score card does not show hole configurations, so at tee box you are hitting blindly and cross your fingers. There is a drink shack between holes 9 and 10. Didn't see a drink cart for the full 18 holes. See more..

Lovely location and setting and clear view of Seattle and the mountains. Be sure to have your great friend/host book a great view when you go. Excellent wine, and company, but hard to plan and scheme when the tables outside are so close. We could smell their fish, and they could listen to us--socially distanced, not! Excellent service though. Would totally go back for more scheming, but it totally stinks they can't get schools to shuttle our kids here directly while we drink wine, ya know? See more..

Just recently played the course with some golfing friends and had a great time. Course was in great shape even though it is the middle of winter. We were treated with first class by the staff at the course throughout the day, from the pro shop (they told there is a brand new one coming this summer....cool!) to the food and beverage folks. Super reasonable pricing for 18 holes on a course that offers so many distance options. We played their Blue/White mix and enjoyed the different yardage options. Definitely coming back and next time will walk the course as it is perfect for that. See more..

I have had the opportunity to play some pretty terrific golf courses in my lifetime, Pebble Beach, The Blue Monster at Doral and a few more. I now golf weekly and carry a 15 hdcp. When I played Palouse Ridge last week, I was totally blown away. This golf course is truly a golfer's dream and I am not talking about "resort course" golf either! First off, it's just beautiful. The views are fantastic, the course conditions are superb and well maintained and it plays as tough as you want to bite off. Every hole is a challenge. Every hole you need to have a plan. Playing this course upped my excitement for the game. My golf experience at Palouse Ridge was superb. It hit all my criteria for why I pay and play golf. You can't beat that! See more..

    - Typical of Enumclaw
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Is it a golf course or a gold course? Who knows? Who cares? I've met decent folks in this town I can count on one hand. It doesn’t surprise me that money comes above everything else here. Politics is corrupt, the motel is dodgy, kids in big trucks laugh about opening their doors while driving to knock bicyclists into the drainage ditches. Many people can't read, leading to fights with neighbors involving weapons and months of posturing with weak verbal skills and even weaker listening skills. Even though the local kids find it amusing to tip over the portable toilets at the golf course, it is more amusing that the golf course doesn't yet have the forethought to stop it before it happens again. And again. See more..

I tried to walk on as a single to golf Foster Links and it happened to be booked solid, bad timing on my part. It was happy hour so I decided to grab a bite to eat and watch people golf. I sat outside and the food was ok and service was subpar. I went back the next day and sat inside to eat and the service was good. Their clam chowder was pretty good and their catfish fingers. The menu seems to focus on Cajun style food but doesn’t specifically state that message. The place is well maintained with plenty of seating indoor and hour with a very generous happy hour. I can’t wait to actually golf the course and stop by the 19th hole. See more..

I have played this course many times. I make the drive from Camas Washington. Every time I play Elk Ridge I am reminded of how beautiful this course is. This course drains better than any course I have played in the winter and it is not even close. They have delicious breakfast sandwiches and solid hamburgers. There isn't a course in The PNW better than Elk for the price in my opinion. The greens are very undulated and the pins can be in some challenging locations.
