Great experience seeing the Sound of Music and Music man in Leavenworth. Maria is outstanding in the lead and everyone does a great job. Very friendly staff and great locations. Sky Hill theater is up a hill but they do have a shuttle bus for Sound of Music. Fish Hatchery is flat and shorter walk for Music Man. It will cool down at night so you may want a light covering. Seat cushions available for a dollar and members receive free. Use your phone light to have better vision returning to your car as the lighting is not great. Will be back!See more..

5.0Village Theatre(88 reviews) - Wonderful first time visit Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Theaters
My wife and I caught the Guys and Dolls musical here a few days ago. The theater was wonderful. Smaller and more intimate than the theaters in Seattle. I couldn't see the mezzanine level, not there's not a single bad seat at the Orchestra level. The theater is not very wide, nor very deep was is great. Even with some taller people in front of us, we were able to see perfectly. Definitely, we will be back.See more..

4.5Pantages Theater(68 reviews) - A civic jewel box Thursday: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM Theaters
This is a restored and modernized early 20th Century vaudeville house and one time movie palace and the premier local venue for live performances. Every seat is excellent, and you don't need binoculars or opera glasses. Symphonies, ballet and international solo artists are better appreciated in this more intimate concert hall than in the mega venues in the city to the north of Tacoma.See more..
This is a great dine-in movie theater, I didn’t realize until I arrived to the movie theater; I was pleasantly surprised. You must be 21+ to enter this movie theater, since it’s a bar and theater. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the theater was very good and the food menu was excellent. I ordered the nachos and they were some of the best nachos I have ever had. This is a great place to see a movie as well as have a great dining experience.See more..

Lowes AMC is one of the best movie theaters I have been to. It’s clean and organized. You have the option of using a computer console to pay or a real person. Just got back from seeing "Van Halen" at this Venue. The show was FANTASTIC, and the venue is Top Notch. The "Only" issue, was getting out of the Parking Lot. 90 minutes to get back to I5 is a little bit of an issue. I think that more than "One-Way" out should be looked at. Just my opinion, since I have been to almost every major venue in the US.See more..

4.5Crest Cinema Center(23 reviews) - Best budget movie house in town Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
The Crest features $4 movies all day everyday. They also serve the best popcorn in town. You can get real butter on your popcorn. Beer and wine is available. There are four theatres at the Crest: One large, one medium and two small auditoriums. All theatres are fitted with soft leather seats. Workers at the Crest are a cut above your regular movie theatre. Before each movie, a crew member will stand at the front of the theatre and introduce the film along with a polite cell phone reminder. Thus, all crew members are proficient public speakers. They have two small parking lots with plenty of street parking in multiple directions. The Crest is a Landmark Theatre so all movies are usually critically acclaimed with an art house lean. They also feature one time only opera showings on screen for $15. See more..
3.0Movie and Dinner(23 reviews) - Still Making Movies Fun, But need to fix a few things Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
I went to the Movies this weekend at Dinner and a Movie in Airway Heights, and as always, it is still the best way to see a movie in town. You can Eat and Drink a Beer, all the while relaxing in very comfortable reclining seats, all the while being catered too. The only issue we had this visit was that they have gone to a new system for ordering your drinks and food and for the most part, it really is not working. The system drops you while you are ordering and you start to worry if your payment went through or not. Just not a very reliable system and from what I heard the Staff saying, they are not liking it either. The way it used to work was the waiter would come to you and take your order and payment and that was that. Very easy and reliable. The old saying "Don't Fix What's Not Broken" comes to mind in this case. Hopefully they figure it out soon, as I can see this effecting people coming to see movies at this venue if not corrected soon.See more..

4.5Skyline Drive-In(14 reviews) - An Old Treasure Movie Theaters
Treat yourself and family and go kick back a few years in time and enjoy a couple movies while camping in the back of your pickup truck. Get yourself a blow up mattress and plenty of blankets and pillows and enjoy the show. The snack bar is fairly plain but the prices are better than the indoor theaters around here. Plus if you're a smoker you're already outside so who cares. We take an extra battery powered radio just to make sure everyone hears the audio. I've been going to the Skyline since I can remember and we should support this landmark. There's not very many Drive-ins left in our country and it would be sad to see them all go under. But we can keep ours if you patronize this long lived establishment that for so long has been part of our Shelton. It's a real Family Friendly place and a great way to spend a weekend night.See more..

4.0Liberty Theatre(14 reviews) - Big Screen like it used to be! Theaters We were down visiting some relatives and were winding down for the night, so thought we would grab a movie. It was refreshing sitting in this older style theater(no one else was even there) and the folks at the counter were really friendly. My only grumble was the popcorn was self serve from area out in front of the stand and it didn't seem very fresh. Otherwise a wonderful place to grab a movie and slip back to simpler times.See more..

We have gone to this theater for years. If I had one complaint is that the popcorn doesn't always tastes fresh. However, we've never had any issues with staff or cleanliness. Occasionally when movies are sold out and are at peak theater times, things might get a little messy from people who weren't taught to clean up after themselves. We love the barrier walls between rows. We ESPECIALLY enjoy being a member of their movie club. We get a free ticket every month, if for some reason we miss going during a month it rolls over. There are no ticket fees either when you purchase online either. During the time they were closed during pandemic, they didn't charge the monthly fee, and previously earned tickets were still available to use. I love that I can choose my seats prior to showing up at the theater.See more..

4.5McIntyre Hall Performing Arts & Conference Center(11 reviews) - Just saw George Winston here, exceptional venue! Spent 2-3 hours Concerts • Symphonies • Theaters • Theatre & Performances McIntyre Hall is a beautiful, thoughtfully designed place for concerts like George Winston's one-man show which brought us here for the first time. It's comfortable, intimate (compared with Bellingham's Mt. Baker, which seats about twice as many) and relatively new so accoustics and lighting are great. We'll definitely seek out shows here in the future. We didn't partake, but there's a bar for wine etc for before-show tipples, and the day we were there separate coffee service as well.See more..
4.5Ruby Theater(10 reviews) - Oldest Theater in the State Movie Theaters • Theaters
Love this theater. You get to sit surrounded by history and watch first run movies. Seats have been upgraded and are very comfortable. Appreciate the time they put into the research.See more..
5.0Firehouse Theater(10 reviews) - Firehouse movie theatre Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
If one likes quirky and good, this is the one. Whereas in most modern movie theatres, watching a movie is a monetary transaction, where one pays for a ticket and watches a movie, this theatre has that plus the movie staff coming in and giving us a running commentary of what to expect now and the following week. Showing were the Crazy Rich Asians and Mama Mia. He then gave details of when the sing-along sessions for Mama Mia were. If we were still in Kingston, we would attend. Halfway through the announcement, someone shouted, “{name}, we can’t hear you.” He changed his position and continued his announcement. Love the interaction!!See more..
