Pantages Theater, Washington, United States

A civic jewel box
This is a restored and modernized early 20th Century vaudeville house and one time movie palace and the premier local venue for live performances. Every seat is excellent, and you don't need binoculars or opera glasses. Symphonies, ballet and international solo artists are better appreciated in this more intimate concert hall than in the mega venues in the city to the north of Tacoma.

Tacoma Treasure
Spent an evening with Garrison Keillor at the Pantages on April 13th. This 74 year old legent walked on to the Pantages stage at 7:30 and stayed there until 10:15. It was yet another grand night at the Pantages. How lucky we are to have a theater of this caliber and performances of this quality come to Tacoma. We love not needing to drive to Seattle for events of this stature. Bravo, Pantages!

Friendly staff and beautiful theatre
My girlfriend and I were rushing up to the theater as we were a few minutes late. A man decked out in tails and top hat so sweetly said, "We've been waiting for you." We were ushered in and tomorrow seats by friendly staff. The theater is beautiful. We bought the cheapest tickets but had great seats. Art Garfunkel wasn't great but the theater itself make for a great experience.
