The Jet Boat tour on the Snake River is a "must do" experience. It is the best way to see the river, wild animals, and petroglyphs, and much more, and to truly experience this area of Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. You may think the price is a little high, but you get lot for this price. 8 hours of the boat ride as well as lunch, water and lemonade, and great narration by an experienced tour guide. I have done rafting trips before, but this jet boat is so much more comfortable, and you cover a lot more territory in the jet boat than you can with a floating trip (and you do not need to row). I really felt like I got my money's worth. The only way to see the 3 state corner (Idaho, Washington, and Oregon) is on this river. If you come to Lewiston, and miss this trip, you will have missed the best adventure in this entire area. Don't miss it!See more..
4.0Deep Sea Charters(66 reviews) - Salmon on the Fury Saturday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Boat Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours
Booked trip on this boat last minuet. Ten of us on the boat and all fishing caught a salmon even if not a keeper. Had a great time! Our deck hand, Dylan, was very helpful and polite. Our skipper, Mike, had a few spots for us to visit and found us some good fishing.See more..
We did an 8-hour drift boat tour with Skyler. Skyer was an awesome guide. Right away he taught us some helpful knots and information about flies/bugs on the river. Within minutes on the river, my partner and I both hooked into some trout (at the same time)! We caught a lot of fish on various flies. Skyler also talked about the river and the fish. He constantly was telling us where and when to cast, and when to set. He did rest for a minute and made sure we were always on the fish. We overheard other boats saying they had a slow day, but with Skyler, we felt our day was awesome and action-packed. We will be back to do a hunting tour with him. The fly shop was amazing and has everything that you need.See more..
Had a great trip with Mike. He was friendly and worked hard to put my boy and I on fish. He was also very patient with my 9 year old in showing him how he wanted the lines in the water and coaching him through fighting his fish. Great guy.See more..
3.0Sprague Lake Resort(21 reviews) - Poor value - and nickel and dimed Fishing Charters & Tours
We paid $53 plus tax plus credit card transaction fee for a total of $61. Showers and Wi-Fi are additional. For some reason the bath/shower building is located at the far end of the property at the entrance. The bathrooms and shower (yes, only one shower for the entire resort) are out of date and dreary. Expect to hear trains on the other side of the lake, and it was continually windy during our one-night stay. On a positive note, Sprague Lake is a nice setting and the resort has comfortable all grass camping sites. But for $61 I can do better, shower included. We camped in a 25 foot motorhome.See more..
5.0Get Hooked NW(20 reviews) - You must fish with him Fishing Charters & Tours
My dad and I came clear to Washington from Illinois, booking a trip in the blind. Happened upon Matt via a different company and couldn’t be happier. Matt is the most pleasant fishing guide I have ever had the pleasure of fishing with. Very hard working captain. We went out for King salmon in the Skykomish river (not easy to fish) and he did everything possible to get the fish in the boat. I would not get within 200 miles of Matt without going out with him again.See more..
I was visiting in the area, near Mason Lake, and asked where I could get some good fresh oysters, on my way home to Portland. I got their name, and was delighted to get 2 different kinds of oysters at a good price, and they were delicious. Will probably stop there again, next time I'm in the areaSee more..
5.0Ellensburg Angler(11 reviews) - Great fly fishing guide service Fishing Charters & Tours

My wife and I went out on the Tornado for two consecutive days. They were combination Salmon/Bottomfishing trips. Captain Dwight Sawin and deckhands Joseph and Quinn were very gracious and efficient, hustling to take great care of all the fishermen and women aboard. Everyone onboard got their limits of king salmon and rockfish each day. We had our first encounters with Blue Sharks on these trips. Wikipedia states they average 10 Ft, and we saw several that size. They were consistently taking our bait, and providing exciting fights before they inevitably broke the lines. One fisherman reeled in half a king salmon, and a big blue got the other half. That’s the only fish the boat gave up, although often we had to quickly pull in fish past the circling sharks. Great fun and excitement!See more..

Two people I know that are WAY into fishing recommended this guide service, so I took them up on it during a family trip to Astoria, OR. Limited out before noon on Day One, so I booked a trip the next day too! Casey (owner/guide) was very experienced, easy-going, helpful, and very funny. His knowledge of the Columbia River, best fishing holes, bait, and depths kept us catching all day! I will definitely be back! See more..
The spacious 56 foot twin diesel powered charter vessel Advantage with Captain Geoff Grillo. The ship was well fitted for both able-bodied as well as Disabled bodies such as mine. I am paralysed from the waist down and in a wheelchair but Geoff and his two crew members, Tommy Quinby and Zach Quinby, accommodated me and made sure that I had a great time with Kathleen, my wife, and my friends. When it comes to charter fishing out of Westport, Geoff and the Advantage Charters is the BEST operation out there! Lots of indoor areas to stay dry and warm with two bathrooms and lots of room to fish, the deckhands are top notch! Very professional and experienced fisherman that go over the top when it comes to getting fish. Family friendly environment.See more..
I have fished with a number of fishing lodges and charter operators in Washington, Alaska and Canada over more than 20 years and Shake-n Bake is at the top of my list when it comes to a quality trip. The boat crew are attentive and personable and really make the trip a joy. The gear they use is the best in the business. And, the boat is the most comfortable boat to fish that I have ever experienced. Management of reservations and other logistics is very smooth and uneventful, even when I have had to cancel reservations - they are always friendly and easy to work with! Nearly everything you will need for your trip has been anticipated and they have honest recommendations for lodging and dining and fish processing that make your trip a real treat.See more..
3.5Pacific Salmon Charters(9 reviews) - Great experiences with Pacific Charters for over 15 years. Boat Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours
Been fishing with Pacific Charters for over 15 years. Always have a great time. Knowledgeable skippers Rob, Rich, and David always seem to put us on fish and make it an enjoyable trip. I highly recommend them. Milt and his crew also do a great job at taking care of your catch when you get in.See more..
My husband and son went on a guided fishing trip with Stehekin Fishing Adventures this last week. My husband has fished many rivers, but nothing as clear and pretty as the Stehekin River. We spent 10 days exploring different areas of Washington and they both said that this fishing trip was the highlight of our whole vacation. Their guide, Pat, was fun, energetic, knowledgeable about the river, and great with our son (he is 12) who had never fly fished before. My husband said that as soon as the line broke or tangled, Pat had another rod and reel ready to go. They caught a bunch of rainbow trout and cutthroat. While I was waiting on them to arrive back, John and Patty invited me into their home. They are so hospitable and kind. We can’t wait until we are able to go back again. We absolutely loved our time in the valley and the fishing trip was the best part!See more..
5.0Troutwaters Outfitters(5 reviews) - Great fishing and great people, what's not to like? River Rafting & Tubing • Fishing Charters & Tours
I've utilized the guide service at Troutwaters Outfitters on two separate occasions. These guys work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable, memorable and successful day on the river. I'm an immediate level and my spouse is a beginner fly fisherman (woman). The guides coached us on each outing, we both improved our casting and mending abilities substantially. We found the guides friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you want to improve your fly fishing and enjoy Washington's only Blue Ribbon Trout stream, the Yakima River. If you are already an expert, you'll enjoy the access on the Cle Elum River.See more..
You can tell when someone is both very knowledgeable and very passionate about what they do. Although we didn’t show on time and it was cold and wet, we had the best time and had plenty of fish for dinner! These guys are worth the drive to see if that’s what you need to do, though Yelm is quite convenient to anything in the area of JBLM, Seattle, or whatever. Do yourself a favor and check here first!See more..

My state is on lockdown due to COVID-19 and he offered to let me re-book but refused to refund my deposit. We had several email exchanges, and he wished me to die by Covid-19. He can keep my money, I would not go fishing with him if it was free.See more..

5.0Worley Bugger Fly Co(2 reviews) - Every experience I have had over the years (10+) has been 5 out of 5 stars with WB. Fishing Charters & Tours
Hands down this is my favorite fly shop. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and happy to help novice to expert level fishermen. I've scheduled 3 guided trips on the Yakima River over the years and am looking forward to celebrating my 28th wedding anniversary with my wife as she asked for a drift to celebrate. The owner, Steve, treats you like an old friend when you come in and is happy to answer questions, buy supplies or schedule a trip. Matt's AWESOME, he knows the rivers and lakes after guiding them for the past 16 years and makes every trip a memory. He'll "up your game" in fishing but does it in a way that helps any level of fishing experience. I also hear that Aaron is a legend on the waters and maybe one day I can fish with him too but Matt's helped my family, friends and myself land more fish than I can remember while learning something new every time. Thanks WB for being an advocate for the sport and the central Washington community. - JasonSee more..

5.0RK River Fishing(1 review) - Just Awesome Fishing Experience Fishing Charters & Tours
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with guide Rob Sweem! From the very beginning, we appreciated that his communication was on point; he replied back to answer any questions we had. We made a reservation about a month prior and spoke with him the day before. He gave us good directions to the meeting spot. The boat was perfect for the trip. Rob was very knowledgeable about the King Salmon we were catching. What a fight it was reeling in those King Salmon! Bucket List trip for sure! Awesome trip that met all our expectations of a Washington King Salmon fishing trip! Would book another with him and recommend to anyone who would enjoy a fishing adventure!See more..
What an amazing time out on the Yakima river with an expert fisherman guiding us. We had been on the Yakima before, but we had never seen so much of the river until we saw it through the Nate's eyes. Nate did an amazing job of teaching us about fly fishing and how to navigate this unique biosphere.See more..
Clancy and his team (I prefer his son Ron) know where the fish are, and know how to get you into them! Top notch gear and guiding. And Ron meets my prime criterion for a Man of the River: he is a gentleman. This means he respects the fish we are chasing, as well as his clients and his competition. Ron has gotten me into steelhead and salmon for many years. Fish on!See more..
5.0Reel Time Fishing(1 review) - Guided trip by Toby Wyatt for smallmouth bass on fly rods on the Grand Ronde River. Fishing Charters & Tours
Upon arriving in Clarkston, we were shuttled to the boat launch. We were the only drift boat and only fisherfolk on the 12 miles of river we floated. Under Toby Wyatt's guidance and recommendation of extremely effective lures and where to cast, we landed nearly 40 smallmouth bass in the 1-2 lb range, a few exceeding that weight. We saw a large golden and bald eagles, mule deer, and a variety of waterfowl such as mergansers, white pelicans, kingfishers and enjoyed the song of the canyon wren. A perfect day that ended too soon for my husband and I.See more..
