Our skipper did a fantastic job of sighting whales in the area for us and bringing our boat safely nearby so we could watch as two pods of orca moved up the coastline. He effortlessly kept the boat parallel to them so we could all see. It was spectacular. On the way back, he even stopped to point out some puffins and a horned puffin. I can't believe he eve saw them! Blueberry buckle was worth the money and a hot cup of cider in a Puget Sound Express mug was a perfect way to ride home. We have taken this trip twice now and I'm sure we'll do a third.See more..

This is the best place in USA for bald eagle photography, we are from Wisconsin but we traveled almost every year for the last 5, Wayne is an excellent guide and friend. This was an excellent trip on the Sea Angel, Captain Brian Birante and his brother Robert as deck hand were the hardest working crew I have ever had the pleasure to charter with. Not only did they do an excellent job tending to everyone, they were friendly and engaging. They told stories and treated the guests like friends. My friend fought a large King Salmon for quite a while and it finally slipped the hook, She deflated after fighting such a good fish then losing it. Robert told her she did everything right and that losing the fish was not her fault. Hearing that from her made her feel better. We had to let a lot of wild salmon go but we still filled the limit and everyone took two salmon home. Robert fileted the fish for us. They maintain a clean and organized boat. These guy are top shelve and I recommend they whole heartily. I am looking forward to chartering with them again .See more..

Captain Dave had his mask down to his chin in the car ride, and spit copiously when he was talking. He also had a paternalistic attitude, telling me what to do in ways that went beyond reasonable safety considerations. Additionally, the time of our flight was changed last minute. This may not bother you, but he also name-dropped constantly, which I found annoying, especially when I was there to be out in nature, not being subjected to a word salad.See more..
One of our best National Parks we have visited. It has it all, mountain's, beach and rain forest trails. Everywhere you hiked you are in awe. The views are something you have to see for yourself. The moss covered trees along the well maintained trials just kept my camera clicking. Leaving thr rainforest and arriving at the beach seemed like a time warp. Ruby beach is a must stop. You cannot be disappointed with this park. I would give it at least 2 or 3 days mimimum. It is large with so much to see.See more..

This was. A great beginner/ introductory experience for me and my friend. Our guides Ally and Joel, made our entire experience as they were high energy, kind, and relatable. Joel was super informative and gave us a better understanding about WA and what the state has to offer. Ally made sure that us and Joel were safe just in case anything were to happen. Overall, if you are looking to try rafting the Wenatchee route is perfect for beginners and you will have some of the best water rafting guides out there!See more..

I went on one of Westport Seabirds’ pelagic birding trips and highly recommend it IF you’re not prone to seasickness. They take you up to 30 miles off the coast. Their staff is friendly, enthusiastic, and super knowledgeable, and they do all they can to make sure you get great views of birds you’d never see on land. We saw sooty shearwaters diving for chum and they looked like they were flying underwater, very cool. Fun to watch the albatrosses seemingly walking and skating on top of the water, too. We even saw a South Polar Skua, among many other birds. Our trip was lucky and saw orcas, too, as well as humpback whales and dolphins. Be prepared for a very early start (we had a beautiful dawn) and a long day at sea (~ 10 hrs.) with food, a hat, sunblock, and energy!See more..
Kudos to YSS's "Miss Saltwater Therapy" which flew 'thee black' for Saturday and Sunday diving, September 11 & 12, 2021. Great to have YSS Dive join in with our '2021 Talk Like A Pirate' Adventures. The 'pirates' of The Yakima Dive Club enjoyed diving Elephant Wall, Jordstad Creek, Pinacle and Flagpole. Hoist a couple for Captain John and Captain Steve. YSS's dive boat is great dive boat for four divers. Captain John and mate know the needs of cold water divers and assist prep for exiting and re-entry to the boat. Highly recommend Flagpole as a dive site as numerous wolf eels, cloud sponges and GPO's.See more..

We hired SkyWater Boat tours to provide boat transportation in the Columbia River for two work related projects . We have nothing but positive thing to say about SkyWater Ventures and Larry Young, the boat Captain. The price was very reasonable, he was easy to work with, and understood exactly what we needed to do. Larry was very knowledgeable about the local area and the history as well as an excellent boat Captain. We completed our work faster than expected partly due to the professionalism and knowledge of SkyWater Boat Tours. Captain Chris, knows the area really well and timed the trip to arrive at Turtle Cove at Buck Island when the big boats from the cruise ships were leaving and before the second wave arrived, giving more privacy with our small group of four. We saw turtles, sting rays, a shark, and lots of fish. Drinks whether water or rum punch are included and a snack after snorkeling. He only takes up to six people out so it’s a small group, unlike the big boats that have 20 or more on them. I would definitely recommend going out with him rather than the cruise lines shore excursion for a more personal experience.See more..
