Three parks all wrapped on one.
One of our best National Parks we have visited. It has it all, mountain's, beach and rain forest trails. Everywhere you hiked you are in awe. The views are something you have to see for yourself. The moss covered trees along the well maintained trials just kept my camera clicking. Leaving thr rainforest and arriving at the beach seemed like a time warp. Ruby beach is a must stop. You cannot be disappointed with this park. I would give it at least 2 or 3 days mimimum. It is large with so much to see.

Don't Miss This Tour
It is so much easier to board the van and be escorted to the key sights in the Quinault Rainforest than to try to drive around and find everything yourself. Of course, if there is anything that particularly intrigues you, or if there are trails you want to hike other than the ones covered, you can always go back the next day. The price is extremely reasonable. I booked online before I arrived because I was only staying at the Lake Quinault Lodge one night and did not want to risk the tour, on the one day I was there, being sold out. This proved to be unnecessary--the 3:30 tour on the midAugust day I was in Quinault was comprised of only myself and one other couple.That couple was not even staying at the lodge. Being that there were only the three of us, we were able to easily ask questions. Our tour guide, Jody, was extremely knowledgeable. This tour gives one great insights into temperate rainforests; when I went to the Hoh rainforest the next day, I could better understand many facets of that rainforest from what I had picked up on this tour. Besides riding to the Biggest Spruce Tree, Merriman Falls, the braided river where the salmon run, the odd moss-draped Mossquatch and several other places, we also hiked two trails through the forest. One of the key reasons I stayed at Lake Quinault Lodge was to access this tour (the other was to take a kayak out on the lake). The tour was a highlight of my visit...I am so happy I took it and highly recommend it.
