Very beautiful setting to relax in
Really great place to stay. We had a room with the hot tub on the balcony and we loved it. Was a little bit said that the soaking pool was for only 18 or over, my 17 year old son wanted to go try it. Also was very disappointed that all the massage appointments were already taken. You should offer as part of the booking to also schedule a message. But all in all had a very nice time. It was our first time here and will likely be back.

If you're in the area it's a go
If you've never been it's a must try. I weird experience for a reasonable price. $35 I believe. The "bath house" has separate sides for men & women. Be prepared it's a very old building with very old tubs. Hubs has had good & bad experiences on the men's side. He says there is no privacy, so when others are there you're just naked with a bunch of rando's next to you. Not his cup of tea. When he's had it to himself (and maybe brought in his own beverage) he kicked back for 30 min and came out relaxed & his old man joints feel a ton better. On the women's side there is privacy, you get your own tub with shower curtain privacy. Throw in your ear buds and you've got 20-30 min of relaxation. It's been nice for me. You can have a wrap too. I've never done it - something about being swaddled by strangers not for me. There is a larger pool we've never been to. Last I checked it was still closed due to COVID.

Our own private hot springs
The king hot tub room is a great option for privacy and comfort. The large hot tub is filled with perfect temp mineral hot springs water. Three people could easily fit in the tub. Lovely to soak in the tub and enjoy the birds, the wind, and the river sounds. Our room faced the Wind River and we could hear it down below, but not see it from the room. We stayed 2 nights, Saturday and Sunday, a good choice. As to the room... Excellent king bed, wow, very comfortable. Excellent bedding and towels. Plenty of towels. Very clean bathroom with a good shower, plenty of hot water. Typical coffee maker, there is a small fridge, nice warm robes. Wifi is unsecured but quick. Very quiet room. And remember, our own private hot springs is only a couple steps out onto our private balcony. Truly a great experience. Things that could be improved.... The exhaust vent in bathroom is loud, making it difficult to sleep through. And the carpet felt fine to my bare feet but it looked ready for a cleaning. Several dining choices in the area, the on site restaurant is in the Golf Course Clubhouse about 1/3 mile up the road. Friendly staff, tasty, reasonably priced burgers, wraps, etc. Other restaurants in Carson (we really enjoyed Backwoods Brewery), and Stevenson is less than 10 miles away. There is much to do at CHS; I recommend the wrap and soak if you have an hour to spare. Excellent hot springs treat. All in all we had a wonderful stay. Friendly staff, a very comfortable room, and oh man, that wonderful wonderful water. We will be back.
