Best Whale Watch!

Fabulous! Clean comfortable boat that only allows space to150 people, but could easily accept 300. Naturalist was very knowledgeable and went through the entire boat to chat and answer any questions. Worth the drive to Gloucester as your boat ride to the sanctuary is shorter and viewing time is much longer than other companies. Staff is top notch, professional and the entire event ran like a well oiled machine. We took the morning trip and saw eight humpback whales and endless dolphins at close range. The boat is conducive for this. The whales/dolphins fed undaunted and seemingly unaware we were even there. Although never guaranteed, we were lucky enough to see one breach. It was a perfect trip!

    Best Whale Watch Ever!
This was an amazing experience. The crew came by to check on everyone, the Naturalist was very personable and came by before and after seeing whales to answer questions. The Captain didn’t give up until we saw whales. We were able to experience some amazing behaviors from 3 Humpback Whales and a super pod of White-sided Atlantic Dolphins. We had previously paid twice this amount in Bar Harbor and saw ZERO whales and they hadn’t seen any in 3 days but only gave a voucher no refund. 7 Seas Whale Watch in Gloucester is the only one I will ever recommend! Absolutely loved it!!!

Highpoint of our trip to Boston!
Friendly staff dedicated to everyone having a good time. I think they have just as much fun on each outing. Boat is clean and well maintained, with plenty of railings on two levels to see all the sea life. There is a extended bow that holds 8-10 people where you can really get a good look, but people seem to quickly take up space there and hold for the trip. They promised a whale sighting, well I counted 18 full tails (which the biologists and whale watchers use to assign names to the whales for tracking) and at least a dozen more backs of whales. We saw one full breach, where the whale leapt from the water. The captain is a master of using the boat to watch the animals, but not interfere, (this isn't Sea World). He (along with the passengers and crew) will sight a whale blow and head towards it at high speed for a short burst and then slowly coast engines idled towards the location. We saw whales from one hour into the trip until heading into port. On our trip we had an extra 'finale' in we encountered hundreds of dolphins native to the area with young. All were swimming in groups of three or four, with lots of leaps from the water. Definitely a must. Boston is hectic to get around (not really a vacation for me) and stressful, this is a welcome way to relax and enjoy the ocean and see some incredible animals.
