We had an amazing time with captain Rick and his mate. We were 4 girls celebrating a 30th birthday and they received us super well, calm and very educated. They would answer any questions we had about sailing. I am doing my captain license at the moment and they were just the perfect teachers. We also had a little drink at the dock at the end and just kept talking like old friends. During the sailing, rhe lake was exceptionnaly super choppy and we started being to much sea sick, so we turned back earlier than planned but they took the leftover time to do a quick tour of the bayou, which was fabulous. We saw wildlife even in winter. Fantastic crew! Thanks captain! See more..

Let me start by saying this is our second time visiting Griffin Charters. Each time is better than expectations! This last trip was with my wife, sister and son. The fishing was awesome, we hit the weather conditions and the fish activity about perfect and our guides knew exactly how and where and to go. Colby, Chris and Gage are three of the best guides we have had the opportunity to fish with and to say they are professional, knowledgeable and driven to exceed expectations is an understatement! Not only did we limit out both days of fishing we also had the opportunity to go after some big fish and not only found them but landed more than one! Just an awesome trip! As usual the food from my favorite chef, Joe, was spectacular and not only is he a great cook but a really nice guy to talk with and share some local knowledge. One last thing the accommodations are outstanding, safe, always clean, generously appointed and did I mention CLEAN. I will be booking again for a fall trip. See more..
