We drove 100+ miles to shop at this mall. It did not disappoint us! The variety of stores for our group was impressive. We range from 14 - 49 yrs old. The food court is clean, multiple tasty offerings. My ONLY complaint, is this mall does not have a sit down restaurant in the main mall. Because we drove so far, this was a marathon shopping trip. We utilized the multiple sitting areas to gather our thoughts and rest our legs. However, it would have been nice to have a place to go eat other than fast food during our 6 hours in the mall.See more..
Like so many people, I love antiques. Yet, I like looking for Catholic Saint pictures, so I decided to venture into the Breaux Bridge Antique Mall. I remember years ago it was the Theriot General Merchandise Store. Than I would go there looking at patterns, jeans, and shoes; however, today it would be different. As I entered the store, I could smell the old scent of antigues and also the wooden floor squeaked. It was just fun looking at the old catalog, books, the antique bottles, and just a good old feeling came over me, like I was transported to the early 1900's. As I made my way around the store, I spotted a beautiful picture of Saint Rita in a lovely brown frame. I wondered what the cost would be, yet Saint Rita happened to be the saint name that was given at my Confirmation in the Catholic Church. Today, I have the picture, and I am so happy that I decided to take a trip back in time.See more..
