We love to visit farmers markets in cities we visit, this was our first visit to the Red Stick farmers market. Although it's a little small compared to other cities this size, it has plenty of vendors, with lots of good stuff. We had to search for parking, as most are posted "No free parking". We paid $5 a few blocks away. A vendor later told us That the parking in the adjacent parking garage is free on Saturday. We got there around 10 am and the blueberry vendor had already sold out, but we found another. There are plenty of vendors that sell locally grown produce, plants, and homemade goods. Even though we were visiting from out of town, we still bought quite a bit, including plants to take home. One of the items that we found was a locally made barbecue sauce called "Baconation" professionally packaged and even includes sweet tea in its ingredients we bought three jars. This is a fun farmers market to visit and we Will be back. See more..
