    Very good place to visit, walk with my wife and adult son. People are almost always friendly on the beach. Also fly my paramotor. They have rules but are not ridiculous with the rules like some beaches are. 4 wheelers are allowed as long as you act like you are visiting not own it yourself. As people should do. Could use a good General store near by and maybe a souvenir store. See more..

    Large park with lake access, small beach. Sites gravel, fairly level, large screened room not reservable so you risk having other people and kids in and out if you're having a get together there. The bathrooms and laundry are inside that same building. Bathrooms clean, rusty fixtures. Laundry definitely needs improvement. Most were out of order and washers didn't always drain completely. Staff nice. Nobody to keep the noise level down at night. Park is adjacent to a main road, so lots of street noise. See more..

    This was an out of the way beach with Little to no people. There were shells. It was beautiful. Loved it. We would come again. See more..

    I pulled my camper on the west side of Rutherford beach, the signs explained the rules, family, no ATV's, 10 miles per hours. I set up, great spot, walked the beach and picked up shells. I enjoyed watching the many birds and fish boats. Then I set up a fire started dinner and was enjoying a glass of wine when a police car showed up and told me I couldn't stay the night because no campers were allowed to stay over night, only tents were allowed over night. There were no signs stated this anywhere. Very disappointed! See more..

    Not much to see here except the water itself. However there are a lot of catamarans parked here that probably get used when it is a good sailing day. I visited when the weather was not ideal and not a lot to say. It was an OK beach to visit. See more..
