    Before going to the lighthouse first I had to stop by the Johnson Bayou library (new security measures) and have them send an email stating what time and date I would be there. I have a 4x4 so the drive was easy but a little bumpy after leaving the pavement. Any truck with decent clearance should make it easy. I enjoyed seeing history in person. You cant get very close but it looks sketchy anyway. There was lots of wildlife to see as well. Make sure to bring your ID as well. See more..
