Went to a child's birthday party given at one of the pavilions. A lot of space for the children to play (great playground with nice equipment). Always a breeze .from the surrounding bayous. Very clean grounds and pavilions. Slidell should be proud of this quaint little park in the middle of town and easy to get to. Excellent parking spaces for large crowds. See more..

If you want to go to a place where the people are very friendly, the food is delicious, and you want to see an alligator or two, this is the place for you! Go at Easter and experience a Good Friday crawfish boil!!! You will still see Mardi Gras beads hanging from trees on the parade routes too. Wanna see an above ground cemetary? Wanna experience a swamp tour? Have a night out at the Jolly Inn for some authentic Cajun music and eats!!!
