3.5Paragon Casino Resort(162 reviews) - A great place to play and stay Casinos • Golf Courses
I have visited the Paragon Casino several times - the hotel is absolutely awesome - and for the casino rate of under $28!!!! - Whirlpool bath, welcome gift basket, micro and fridge - in a very nice, spacious, clean new room. If you stay in the hotel, ask for a room in the North tower, they have the whirlpool tubs. Do NOT stay in the chalets in the RV park - they are rundown....FOr the same price get a hotel room. The casino is large with a good variety of games, and the staff is very helpful. One of our favorite places for a gaming trip. See more..

4.0TPC of Louisiana(23 reviews) - Great fun golf course Golf Courses
I played TPC Louisiana and had a wonderful day. I was warmly welcomed by the pro shop and had a long chat with Max the starter. I hit a few range balls and chose to play off the tournament tees. There's a set of tees to suit players off all ability's. There is a LOT of sand, knowing where to hit it and where to lay up would be a huge advantage. Lunch was really nice and overall it was a brilliant day out. Highly recommended. See more..
4.5Gray Plantation(19 reviews) - Great Round of Golf Golf Courses
My wife and I stayed at the Golden Nugget (where only managers have an answer to the most simple questions... everything is over cooked and check-in sometimes can take till 8 pm.) We have played Gray a Plantation several times and with no disappointments... This was no different and the conditions were excellent at half the price ($46 )of the Country Club At the Golden Nugget or Contraband Bayou At L’Auberge ... you get free range balls... brand new golf carts with phone charging ports and gps.. the staff is NICE and they are empowered to make a decision on the fly.... If you want challenge on a course in excellent condition .. pick Gray Plantation ...call them direct to make a tee time google them....See more..
2.0Olde Oaks Golf Club(15 reviews) - Not Top Quality Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Golf Courses
Traps aren't playable. Some greens very brown but putts still putt fairly true to line. Greens mostly on slow side. No range balls during mid-morning simply because they hadn't been picked since day before. Very limited golf shop. Now, that said, cost is reasonable. Staff is friendly. Courses are challenging. Three courses are there: Meadow - Links Style; Oaks - fairly narrow fairways; Cypress - wide open and a little boring. This is not like the RTJ Golf Trail in Alabama. It is a privately-owned course on the Audubon Golf Trail in Louisiana and in doesn't speak well for Louisiana golf. This course needs work. The traps should be removed or fixed. The greens need better care. Most people I met said owner puts money into another course he owns, not this one. This was an average experience. People I met were great. Cost was low. Course was disappointing. See more..

4.0Gator Grounds RV Resort(10 reviews) - Camping + Waterpark = Fun! Spent More than 3 hours Water Parks • Golf Courses
Why go to an RV park with a pool when you can go to one with a waterpark? There were several slides, including one big enough to interest teenagers, and several pools, including one for volleyball, two hot tubs, and a small but fun lazy river. There was also an indoor area for youngsters. We didn't eat any hot foods in the Grill, but we did enjoy a Bluebell Ice Cream cone. For people tired of water, there is a sand volleyball court and a basketball court, plenty of room to bike, and there is a golf course next to the campground. Everything was clean and quiet (we were there during the week). You do have to pay for internet each day (although there is a 2-day weekend rate), with prices ranging from $5 a day basic to $15 for streaming.See more..
4.5The National Golf Club of Louisiana(9 reviews) - Superb and challenging golf course. The rates are low for a golf course of this caliber. Golf Courses If you keep the ball in play, the course is very fair. However, you will be penalized with an errant shot as you should be on most of the holes. They are rapidly clearing lots for homes and the future for this course is bright. Bring a few extra balls just in case you are having a bad day. I assure you that you will come back and play it again after your first trip. Highly recommended!See more..

4.5Frasch Park Golf Course(2 reviews) - Scenic, Interesting, Good Value Golf Course Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses This is a nice course for an average player. I've played there numerous times. It favors strategic play versus the long hitter. Will not need driver on every hole, No two holes are the same. There's a driving range, and excellent practice facility. Friendly staff ready to help with just about anything. My fiancé went with me in the golf cart and really enjoyed the unique scenery, wildlife and landscaping. You will use every club in your bag on this course! Their website says: The 18-hole "Frasch Park" course at the Frasch Park Golf Course facility in Sulphur, Louisiana features 6,298 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.3 and it has a slope rating of 126 on Bermuda grass. Frasch Park golf course opened in 1955. 2.0Stonebridge Golf Club of New Orleans(1 review) - I gave it two stars - it is a golf course Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses Poorest golf experience on the entire golf trip. Poor management, poor clubhouse, bad greens, bad bunkers, no course management and upper-mid range price. Had to play a rule that if the bunker needed mowed, you got a free drop. There were 2-somes, 3-somes, 4-somes, and 5-somes mixed along the course with a super slow pace of play. Setting is somewhat depressing, did see a dead alligator in one canal. Beer prices through the roof. On the plus side, most of the tee boxes were marked and there was signage from hole to hole. Oh, little to no water on course and one lavatory facility. No GPS on carts.See more..
4.0Calvert Crossing Golf Course(1 review) - private club, Troon affiliated noticeable construction Golf Courses If you are a Troon Rewards member, this course appears on the list for Louisiana. A moderately well maintained, private club which is undergoing renovation, drainage and fairway reconstruction. Pretty setting, west of Monroe, LA. owned locally, and open Tuesday thru Sunday. Had the opportunity to play on a Monday, with blessing of the Pro Stewart Martin, very affable Pro. many holes have water hazards and after a wet period in mid-March there was soggy fairways both 9 holes. White Tees are 6010 yards, with terrain, Blues- 6390, Reds 4856. Cannot be walked in reasonable time, too many displaced green to tees to maintain a pace. No interaction with staff or clubhouse grill. This is private. Troon offers access.See more..
3.0CANE ROW GOLF CLUB(1 review) - Very Average golf course Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses I played here a couple of times in February 2016 and found the course to be very average in both design and condition. The staff is very friendly. The layout is in 3 nines, Steeple; Woods and Plantation. The Steeple, by far, is the most interesting of the nines with the Plantation being the lest favorite of mine. Putting 2 nines together makes the course play to about 6300 from the blues. Slope at 129. I was most suprised that course here do not overseed like they do in AZ. The burmuda is dormant and almost all the lies I had were very thin. If you're going to play here, try to play the Steeple and Woods nines.See more..
