Sure, its not a huge water park ,like schlitterbahn or blue bayou, but it costs 6.50 to get in! This park is a must-see! My family has visited Lamson Park many times! It is just a beautiful park and a special treat each time we go. The grandstand seating between the dugouts is almost fully covered which is really nice. As a bonus, the Cajuns play great softball and their fans are top-notch, even if you are there for the opposing team as we were. We were so surprised by how the fans were so warm and friendly the first time we visited and have found that they are consistent with each visit. This place is well worth going to if you are in the area. The concessions have some yummy treats, too. Last but not least, don't pass on the 50/50 raffle! Half the proceeds go to support the Cajuns, and the other half goes to some lucky winner.See more..

Spent 1-2 hours Sports Complexes We went to the Lady Bengal Softball Stadium to watch a scrimmage between the Louisiana-Lafayette Cajun Softball team and the LSUE Lady Bengals. It hapened to be the day of the Louisiana Life Festival on the LSUE campus. The campus, the softball facility were both very nice. I have been on the campus of many Junior Colleges and this is very nice compared to most. Everything is super clean and the facilty is very well maintained.See more..

Covering 185 acres it includes multiple fields/courts for baseball, softball, tennis, football/soccer, T-ball, and an indoor gym. It has a number of ramps and rails, and even a half pipe . They rent helmets if you need and have a snack bar with drinks, candy , and even some hot food. Visited Lake Charles over a holiday weekend. Family with teenagers looking for outside fun. The large skate park was a great relief to our avid skateboarder. The tennis courts looked well maintained. The indoor swimming pool, walking track and gym were excellent! Fountains available outside and inside. Restrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Playground and splash pad were in good working order. Be aware, not too many shaded areas available. Great fun!See more..
