   Fished with Joey. Wanted to tuna fish but Joey was more interested in catching mahi and orher misc fish. He informed us in the am that he had stayed up too late drinking and felt lousy. I feel that when we pay for a charter the captain should not be hung over and give 100 percent to his charter. Another complaint is he seems to not care about your comfort. We had about 3-4 ft seas and he would run at 45-50 mph. Everyone got beat up. Not once did he ever ask if anyone was comfortable. I could keep going on about how unprofessional Joes is as a captain but u get the picture If I could give u a little advice Joey please pay more attention to your clients requests and comfort See more..

   Traps aren't playable. Some greens very brown but putts still putt fairly true to line. Greens mostly on slow side. No range balls during mid-morning simply because they hadn't been picked since day before. Very limited golf shop. Now, that said, cost is reasonable. Staff is friendly. Courses are challenging. Three courses are there: Meadow - Links Style; Oaks - fairly narrow fairways; Cypress - wide open and a little boring. This is not like the RTJ Golf Trail in Alabama. It is a privately-owned course on the Audubon Golf Trail in Louisiana and in doesn't speak well for Louisiana golf. This course needs work. The traps should be removed or fixed. The greens need better care. Most people I met said owner puts money into another course he owns, not this one. This was an average experience. People I met were great. Cost was low.    My daughter called last week to make a reservation for Tuesday. The guy called me back to confirm what we needed and the prices. He said they stopped taking people out at 11:30 so I assured him we would be there Tuesday morning around 9. Tuesday morning, my husband called to make sure we could bring our dog and he told my husband he didn’t have any reservations for today because he was closed. My husband told him I spoke to him last week, and the man continued to insist he did not give me a reservation. Then it changed to something about a graduation.    We were on vacation in New Orleans- unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any movie theaters in the central area of the city. This was a good enough theater- in a seemingly safe area, and was a very big (20 screens) theater. Had a bar in the front as well. Only bad thing was that the bathrooms on one side of the theater were closed down due to "unfortunate circumstances" , so you had to walk quite a ways to the bathroom. See more..

   This novel no-fuss outdoor eatery serves just a few menu items; tacos of various meats with cabbage slaw and chips and guac. The fish tacos I had were really good, fresh. They are $4 each, the more expensive of the selections. Be sure not to be bold and grab a jar of the sweet/spicy orange sauce on the way to your table. It balances the sweetness of the slaw. They have fresh unsweetened tea. All the picnic tables are out in the back, in the shade and they actually run outdoor chillers in the summer, which they can get away with because the trees provide shade so it works. It's a good place to bring kids, plenty of room for them to wiggle around and the music wasn't too loud or obnoxious either. They have two restrooms which are super clean. They also have margaritas!     Poorest golf experience on the entire golf trip. Poor management, poor clubhouse, bad greens, bad bunkers, no course management and upper-mid range price. Had to play a rule that if the bunker needed mowed, you got a free drop. There were 2-somes, 3-somes, 4-somes, and 5-somes mixed along the course with a super slow pace of play. Setting is somewhat depressing, did see a dead alligator in one canal. Beer prices through the roof. On the plus side, most of the tee boxes were marked and there was signage from hole to hole.
