Choppy Lake pontchartrain but amazing time !
We had an amazing time with captain Rick and his mate. We were 4 girls celebrating a 30th birthday and they received us super well, calm and very educated. They would answer any questions we had about sailing. I am doing my captain license at the moment and they were just the perfect teachers. We also had a little drink at the dock at the end and just kept talking like old friends. During the sailing, rhe lake was exceptionnaly super choppy and we started being to much sea sick, so we turned back earlier than planned but they took the leftover time to do a quick tour of the bayou, which was fabulous. We saw wildlife even in winter. Fantastic crew! Thanks captain!

He’ll make a sailor out of you!
My husband and I enjoyed spending the day on Lake Pontchartrain with Captain Rick learning not only how to sail, but even the science and history behind it. He had us finding the wind, adjusting the sail, steering at the helm, and tacking in no time. A wonderful experience that we hope to fully utilize one day with our on sailing adventures. Thanks Captain Rick for being a part of our 24th anniversary gift!
