Wow!!!

If you're visiting Vermont, don't miss Quechee Gorge, also known as the state's "Grand Canyon." The 165-foot gorge cuts through the Ottauquechee River and is the crown jewel of Quechee State Park. The park offers easy hiking trails on both sides of the gorge, and camping and kayaking are popular activities here too, making it an ideal destination for outdoor lovers. The best time to visit is during the fall when the foliage colors are at their peak. Be sure to visit the gift shop and the nearby Vermont Toy Museum, both of which are within walking distance from the park's entrance. – Tripadvisor

    Huge Gorge
Quechee Gorge is awe inspiring and incredible!! A group of us walked the path down and some of us swam in the cold refreshing water. The hike up is a bit much if you're not used to walking up steep hills. We stayed at the Quechee Camp Ground and one night it poured and thundered so loud the echo from the gorge was scary and thrilling all at once. It was an experience I will never forget.

    Spectacular wonder with swim options
Loved our visit to Quechee Gorge and came back a few times. Stroll down is about a 1/2 mile with beautiful rocks and water at the bottom. Water is very clear but quite cold for June. Still managed a few enjoyable swims. There are fish and crawfish as well as tadpoles to catch for small kids. Absolutely beautiful and free natural wonder. Kids didn't want to leave. We also walked the other way to the top of the Gorge and it was a great hike. Walked past the Gorge and made it to the lake with tons of water lilies. Nice spot to take kids for fishing.
