Since founders Susan Sokol Blosser and Bill Blosser planted their first vines in 1971, the family has pursued winemaking excellence through environmentally friendly techniques. Today, situated on a certified organic 85-acre property in the Dundee Hills appellation, and farming another 43 acres of vineyards in Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills, B Corp-certified Sokol Blosser remains committed to a sustainable approach. We found this gem while out walking and it was such a great place to visit. At first we were a little confused as to what exactly was being offered (there's so much), but we eventually found the tasting room and ordered a couple of wine flights to enjoy outside. We were visiting with our 2 year old so outside seemed like the best option, but the indoor seating was so beautifully laid out in the cellar with rugs and small tables topped with flickering candles. The flights were $10 but this was deducted from the price of the bottle we purchased. There were also flights of cider for $8. The grounds were beautiful and there were a few secretive sheds hosting bars and even a clay workshop. Inside the lodge there was a restaurant and gift shop. We weren't able to stay for the live outdoor music that Thursday night (6-9pm) but we did see dozens of people starting to arrive already around 4. See more..

In the classical music lexicon, andante is synonymous with a moderate tempo, sometimes referred to as “walking” pace. Music is deeply important to us and this word has special meaning in our lives. Like the work in our vineyard and winery, andante describes a movement within a symphony or concerto where the tempo changes to a calming cadence. This, we have found, is the rhythm of Andante Vineyard. Our vines have moderate vigor — a highly desirable trait — thanks to our shallow soils and the cooling winds from the Pacific Ocean. Our balanced wines have moderate alcohol. Our work in the vineyard and winery is done mindfully, carefully, and without rushing, at a moderate tempo. You can find us with our fellow vineyard friends within the Van Duzer corridor. We hope to see you soon! See more..

Stopped in here for a wine tasting. It is a little off of the beaten path but worth the drive. They have a nice little tasting room and the staff is very pleasant. They actually have an old turn table and play some vinyls as you sip your wine. The views from the property are very nice, it is located a top of one of the hills that requires about a half mile drive up a gravel driveway. I liked the wines enough to sign up for a membership. The Pinot noirs were excellent but they also had a very nice Chardonnay. Enjoy! See more..

  9. 5.0 Seven of Hearts (2 reviews)
    - Best-value wines
Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards • Wine Bars
I was the only wine taster there and so got the undivided attention of the owner/winemaker, which greatly enhanced my experience. We spent more than an hour sampling 7 or 8 wines, going over the background of each. The vast majority of the wines was very good. But most importantly, they were not outrageously expensive. I bought a bottle made from their own grapes and enjoyed it that evening over dinner. It was delicious. See more..
