Our family of 7 went on the 3 day 2 night rafting trip with these guys and it was absolutely amazing!! Our guides Maynard, Mike, Dustin, Kevin and Soren were experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe, comfortable and having a great time. The food, the camp set up, the raft were all incredible, and as soon as the trip was over our kids were asking if we could turn around and do it again. We stayed the first and last night at Morrison's lodge and loved it. The cabins were spacious and great for our family, and oh my gosh the food at the lodge!!!! 5 star al the way!! I would highly recommend this outfit to anyone looking for an amazing experience with nature and incredible people!! Thank you for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime!!See more..
The tour guide was the most fun. He was full of history about the area so it was cool hearing about our river and the history that moved along it. He really loves what he does & it definitely shows. The drop off at Discovery Park wasn't long enough, I wish my party would have went earlier in the day to have stayed a bit longer. Discovery Park was a sweet little private lake right off the river, several areas to sit with family/friends. They have two camping tents you can rent & stay the night at. The food was honestly better than most spots. Off the grill, backyard family BBQ style burgers & hot dogs. A little gift shop to buy shirts or sweaters lol if you're freezing from getting soaked. All around, fun friendly family experience. If you don't have to go to Grants Pass, DONT. Stay even more local right up the street.See more..

First rafting experience exceeded my expectations!!!! My coworkers and I did the Zip, Dip, & Sip Tour and had an incredible day all throughout. Our rafting guide Parker took great care of us and we had fun exchanging dad jokes! I did a 3 day, 2 night drift boat trip on the Deschutes River with some college friends and we had an amazing experience. The guides, food, and camp experience were all top-notch and the guides know the river so well that they always put you in the best fishing spots. The fried chicken dinner is some of the best chicken I have had anywhere. It does not matter if you are new to fly fishing or an advanced fisherman as the guides will quickly assess the skills of the client and adjust how much hands-on support is necessary. The beauty of the lower Deschutes River is something that should be experienced at least once in a lifetime. I highly recommend a trip with RRO, whether on the Deschutes River or Rogue River and Craig runs a very professional outfit and ensures that his clients have a great experience.See more..

We had an awesome day with Jess! 6 of us on the boat and we all reeled in at least 2 Sturgeon each within a few hours. He is knowledgeable about the area and the different fish in the Columbia. He has a clean, comfortable boat, with high sides and nice gear. He has been fishing most of his life and he had us on the fish all day long. He communicates promptly leading up to the trip and makes sure to teach you what works to have a great day on the water! We went on a two day one night trip, rafting, fishing, and concert on the rocks with Jefferson State outfitters! The guides were amazing, the food was so yummy, and lots of memories were made. I felt so safe going down class 4 rapids especially with never doing anything like that before! If your looking for a great time make sure to contact this awesome company. Davey and Genesis were amazing and always made sure we felt safe and stayed in the boat. They know so much about the river and teaching you everything to know about rafting! My daughter was married at Creekside on July 2. It was everything she wanted. The sound of the brook coupled with the string duo she hired set the mood. Although Hornings was a little out of the way it was well worth the drive. My daughter and her husband planned an interactive reception with yard games. It never appeared as if anyone was spread out. The only drawback Is for anyone with mobility issues: it's a bit of an incline to reach the restrooms, but they are appropriately spaced out of the way from the pavilion. Bob was very helpful and patient in answering questions. He's done this before - we only had one shot at it. Also, during the evening, I heard guests ask "how did you find this place?" Hornings Hideout provided a secluded and intimate setting, perfect for a small wedding. See more..

We went on the Minam Store’s Wine and Food on the Snake River through Hell’s Canyon for 5 days and 4 nights of exciting whitewater (class 3) rafting, hiking and glamping. The entire experience was outstanding: Grant and his expert rafting guides provided insights on the river, wildlife, and historical context during our hikes; Walla Walla winemaker Trey Busch of Sleight of Hand Cellars brought an abundance of excellent wines; all the delicious food was prepared in advance by Chef Andrae Bopp (rhymes with ‘hope’) of AK’s Mercado in Walla Walla. The staff at Sky Lakes Wilderness Adventures was wonderful. They helped us book a kayaking tour that was just right for our family. They accommodated 7 of us ranging in age from 55 down to 10 years old. They had everything we needed to make the adventure comfortable, exciting and just a lot of fun. It was a great way to end our family vacation. Our guide, Colton, was awesome! He knew the history of the area and about the wildlife. He also taught us about how to handle our kayaks. Very experienced and understood what each person in our group was capable of doing. I would highly recommend using Sky Lakes Wilderness Adventures! My husband and I just returned from a 4 day trip with 3 other couples for a Salmon fishing trip on the Rogue River. Our reservations where made thru Grieve's Guide Services and they were great to work with and all services could not have been any better. The transportation, food provided during shore lunches and at the lodges was more than you could ask for - You will not go hungry. I even added the complication of food sensitivities of Gluten and Dairy and everyone accommodated this need without any problem. The three cabins we stayed in were very rustic but it is all part of the adventure - and the owners were delightful and very helpful. The guides, John, Mark, Randy, Ronnie and Don were professional, hilarious, knowledgeable and very hardworking and after 4 days felt like family. We all caught fish every day and the scenery along the river was gorgeous. You won't be disappointed!!See more..
I have done many float trips and this one is by far my favorite. The A-Team (Andrew & Austin) do a great job and know how to guide. I love the remoteness of this float. The two times I have floated this river we only saw one other boat...for 5 days. The canyon is beautiful and the wild rainbows are big and feisty. The camps are laid out well and meals are excellent. This trip will be replacing our annual Deschutes salmon fly float this coming spring.See more..

We booked a fishing trip for five anglers for two days with Bob and his guide buddy Jim Marten . Three of the guys were novice fly fishers. Bob and Jim guided us down two different stretches of the McKenzie River. We all caught plenty of fish, learned new techniques, had a nice shore lunches, and enjoyed the company of both Bob and Jim. These guys worked hard to put us onto fish and they did a great job. Really good fishing and great scenery. I would go again in a heartbeat.See more..

We decided to plan a fly fishing trip on the McKenzie River and the owners at Eagle Rock Lodge suggested Spencer Outfitters to guide us. We called and asked the owner, Bob Spencer, questions about the river and the fishing opportunities. Bob responded to all our questions and we enjoyed hearing the fishing prospects. Bob has a very calming voice and we felt confident with his knowledge and experience so we chose Bob to be our drift boat guide for our three day fly fishing adventure. When Bob picked us up at the lodge we could tell after meeting Bob that he was not only experienced but also had a very dry sense of humor. We also learned quite rapidly that Bob was a total professional and knows the river like the back of his hand; he knows the locations and the best techniques to catch fish. So much so when we were in the rapids Bob knew where he was going and guided the boat exactly where he wanted all the while Bob’s calm demeanor continued. Not overbearing and only gave suggestions when needed, we both enjoyed Bob’s methods. Because of Bob’s expertise and experience we caught many fish and had a great time. In fact, we caught a 24" 9lb. steelhead trout utilizing the “Rouge River Twitch.” The river side lunches were also great.
