A stunning church, the interior is a treasure. The priest is a wonderful person and we attend mass when we are in the area. Highly recommended. See more..
It's beautiful. It's quiet. It's welcoming. Some confuse Queen of Angels Monastery (Benedictine Sisters) with the Mt. Angel Monastery (Benedictine Brothers.) Both properties are wonderful and worthy of an overnight stay in their respective guest houses.See more..
Though it is a large church, it feels very personal. Very well organized and welcoming towards newcomers. Has passionate, dedicated members of all stripes/ages. It's a historical site in sense as it was/is one of the largest, well known church in the whole Portland Metro. May this church continue to be blessed by the LordSee more..

The church is thriving post covid, with Sunday School for children and adults at 10:00AM and Worship Service at 11:00AM. Worth visiting to check out the stain glass windows. The congregation is welcoming too. After all, the Methodist motto is "open hearts, open minds, open doors".See more..
5.0Trinity Episcopal Church(2 reviews) - I know, sounds weird to rate a church, but.... Spent < 1 hour Churches & Cathedrals Trinity is worthy keeping an eye on even if you are a different faith or none at all. First - their wonderful labyrinth, free to walk, outdoor. Just be courteous, respectful and police your trash. Second, they have events that are open to all and are fun, like the amazingly accurate (tho horribly sexist and out of tune with our times) Elizabethan prayers that they presented as a special event. They also do a lot for the community, in terms of donations and caring (as does my own Unitarian Universalist Fellowship), and if you don';t have your own program, they are happy to have you attend and contribute. Very welcoming and open, non-judging people, authentically Christian if the word means adhering to Jesus' words. Visit the labyrinth. Check for activities in the paper.See more..
While we were driving, we passed a beautiful church. It was the St. Mary the Virgin Episcopal Church. They had an office and it the church was painted in dark brown. I liked the entrance the most. All doors were made of glass and lots of natural light entered the church. Outside there was a statue of the Virgin Mary. The cross was huge and was painted in white. The benches had comfortable cushions and it was quite pleasant. The altar was at the front. I like beautiful churches. Worthwhile to see!See more..

Constructed about 1915, this small village church has served Catholic parishioners faithfully for over a century. At one time it was the highest church in town (although the new Columbia Bible Church next door is now a few feet higher). The steeple is visible for miles downriver. Hours may vary; check the website for current information.See more..
When I saw that church, I stood there, admiring this beautiful church. It is made completely in wood. It has a wooden steeple with the cross on the top. The stairs head to the red doors to enter into the church. The trees and the shrubs are well taken care of. The people are really friendly! Church is at 9 A.M. on Sundays.See more..
5.0Rainier United Methodist Church(1 review) - Long-established spiritual and worship center in this small river town Churches & Cathedrals
The Methodist connection to Rainier began in the 1880's, but this church building was not completed until 1905. Many of the influential families in this small town worshipped at this church, especially after the Congregation Church in Rainier was destroyed. It has seen countless weddings, baptisms, and funerals over the last 115 years.See more..

5.0Southwest Hills Baptist Church(1 review) - Great Church in Beaverton! Sunday: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Churches & Cathedrals
We are a church family that is a Gospel-centered community of love that embraces biblical truth and engages in God's mission. Our church family is located all over Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Tualatin, and Portland. We have something for everyone as we seek Christ together: community groups, discipleship groups, a youth group, families with kids, young adults, a homeschool co-op, and retirees! There are no perfect people, but there is a perfect God that loves each one of us! As a Bible believing church, we hold the Word of God in high esteem and encourage everyone to read and study Scripture, engage in fellowship with other believers, and gather together consistently to worship Christ. We would love for you to check out our church and see how we can encourage, disciple, and help you grow closer to Christ. If you feel led elsewhere, we would be honored to help connect you to other great local Bible believing churches in the area that can help you in your walk of faith.See more..
5.0Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church(1 review) - Find a Spiritual Home Churches & Cathedrals St. Barts, a part of the Episcopal Church USA embraces the Episcopal tradition and welcomes all. As an Episcopal Church, St Bart's provides both scriptural and liturgical worship. St. Bart's is well known in the community for its rich musical tradition. No one is told how to worship or what to believe. What remains important in the Episcopal Church is that each individual is free to pursue his or her own worship benefiting both from the scriptures which are read every service and the celebration of Christ's life, his passion, and his resurrection. In addition to worship, St Bart's is engaged actively in the community. For example, they operate a food pantry providing a wide range of normal groceries and meat. They also provide English as a second language to non-English speakers. The two rectors are available to provide comfort and guidance to anyone who asks for assistance.See more..
3.0First Baptist Church of Beaverton(1 review) - A Sunday morning visit Churches & Cathedrals Went her last year and it was comfortable enough, but seemed to be a mostly older congregation and a more traditional service. Whereas many churches now are mixing things up a bit with some traditional and some more contemporary elements, I did not see this at First Baptist of Beaverton. Very friendly, coffee and pastries after service and a very nice message given.See more..
