Hillsboro puts on some great markets. Saturday and Tuesday Night in Downtown and the Sunday Market at Orenco Station. They are all just a little different as far as goods available and entertainment. We really enjoy community events as a way to connect with people and getting to sample local flavors makes it perfect. We had a nice time at the Orenco one. It is set in the parking lot of the shops which were also open for business. It is just off Cornell Road and near the MAX. If you dont already know, the local produce in the region is excellent, famous for berries of course. You can get fruits and veggies that were literally picked the day before. There were lots of interesting crafts, jewelry, fresh flowers and some eduacational booths and things for kids. We had some delicious kettle corn as we sat and listened to the musicians. We took some local wine, cheese and flowers back to our suite at Orenco Manor.See more..
