I enjoyed my last day in Portland taking a wine tour in Willamette Valley with Malia as a wonderful tour guide. Malia gave a good talk about the development of the wineries in the valley and the success of the Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir wines from Oregon. We did the downtown food tour with Dylan. It ended up only being the two of us and we are excited to have incidentally ended with a private tour. Dylan was a great storyteller and told us tons of history about Portland. We are tons of amazing local food and left very full. I thought the tour was worth the money and I would definitely do it again. Highly recommend.See more..

Our group (15) of older adults spent a wonderful 90 minutes walking under the streets and businesses of Pendleton, Oregon, as well as visiting some of the historic buildings in the town. The tour was well worth the fee of $20, and our tour guidem Matt, was very knowledgeable and imparted interesting historic aspects of Pendleton. This is a MUST SEE if you're visiting Pendleton.See more..

Wyatt our raft guide was fantastic. He knew the best way to position the raft so that we all got the full white water rafting experience! He kept the trip fun and was very knowledgeable. Hells canyon adventure overall is a fantastic company. We booked the 1 day rafting trip with jet boat return for the full immersive experience in Hells Canyon and it was worth the money. You not only get the rafting experience, you even get to hike the surrounding area and swim to cool down.See more..
Driver Richard did an excellent job and ranger Joel from Nebraska also did an excellent job! The several stops were beautiful, it was good to hear the history of certain area's that otherwise would not have known (buoys on the lake, grandmother tree, etc.). Plus, not having to deal with the drive and enjoying the scenery was totally worth it. Tried to book on the website, it showed full. When we went inside of the park we saw trolley's sitting we inquired about getting a ride (they had openings), paid the fee and enjoyed the ride. Totally worth it! They do have cushions to sit on the wood seats, as they do offer it.See more..
Maybe we were lucky compared to some previous reviews ... Just a great day on the river .. moderate temps, clear skies with maybe a little smoke/haze, and a rarity - no wind. The company must have read the reviews and made the improvements on the sound system because it was a clear as the bell on the boat. Our captain was a great narrator too - wanted questions from the passengers and tried to personalize it. Staff at the desk, dock, and board were very friendly and created a nice atmosphere. We did the 2 hour sight seeing cruise and enjoyed the ride, scenery, and experience. There was some confusion about the new parking lot process but after calling before the trip, we were told to park at the restaurant and just come inside a pay $5 for a parking pass - very easy.See more..
I have done the river trip with George, Lynette and crew at least 10 times and I keep coming back. The scenery is breathtaking, the white water is exciting but the real draw is the hospitality that George, Lynette and the guides give. It truely is your vacation, if you want to fish, then fish, if you want to swim that's ok too, oh, you want to hunt, get your gun. Lastly, the food is fabulous, it's amazing what comes out of a stack of dutch ovens and a few pieces of charcoal.See more..
My wife and I loved it. We did the half-day tour, which was from about 10am to about 2pm. The e-bikes are regular bicycles fitted with electric motors to aide pedaling, so it’s really easy. You definitely do not need to be a serious athlete. The bikes are well maintained. The waterfalls are all beautiful and getting to them from the road is quick and easy. Each waterfall is well-marked so you really can’t miss them. And they are all located on the same road. Don’t worry, drivers on the route are careful around bike riders. I loved the variety and beauty of the covered bridges with the backdrops of May's lush green vegetation. I would highly recommend contacting the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce before your trip or while you are there to get their free brochure on the self-guided bridge tour. It includes a map, turn-by-turn directions, and a bit of history on each bridge.See more..
