5.0Indigo Creek Outfitters(926 reviews) - Best shuttle service ever! Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Boat Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing • Day Trips
We got a private shuttle for the upper Klamath River from indigo creek outfitters. The driver was there promptly at 11am. It was so reassuring to see our truck -trailer pull off from the put in knowing it would be waiting for us at the end of our run.See more..
The tour guide was the most fun. He was full of history about the area so it was cool hearing about our river and the history that moved along it. He really loves what he does & it definitely shows. The drop off at Discovery Park wasn't long enough, I wish my party would have went earlier in the day to have stayed a bit longer. Discovery Park was a sweet little private lake right off the river, several areas to sit with family/friends. They have two camping tents you can rent & stay the night at. The food was honestly better than most spots. Off the grill, backyard family BBQ style burgers & hot dogs. A little gift shop to buy shirts or sweaters lol if you're freezing from getting soaked. All around, fun friendly family experience. If you don't have to go to Grants Pass, DONT. Stay even more local right up the street.See more..
Maybe we were lucky compared to some previous reviews ... Just a great day on the river .. moderate temps, clear skies with maybe a little smoke/haze, and a rarity - no wind. The company must have read the reviews and made the improvements on the sound system because it was a clear as the bell on the boat. Our captain was a great narrator too - wanted questions from the passengers and tried to personalize it. Staff at the desk, dock, and board were very friendly and created a nice atmosphere. We did the 2 hour sight seeing cruise and enjoyed the ride, scenery, and experience. There was some confusion about the new parking lot process but after calling before the trip, we were told to park at the restaurant and just come inside a pay $5 for a parking pass - very easy.See more..
Take the full tour around the lake. It stops at Wizard Island and goes through the Phantom Ship among other things. The climb back up after the trip is 1 mile and 700 feet of elevation. With the elevation and sun, I ran thru my water quickly and even the ranger refilling our bottles was not enough. So double what you think you might need. But the boat ride is well worth the time.See more..
4.5High Country Expeditions(47 reviews) - Great experience of safe and fun white water rafting. Sunday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours
McKenzie River half day rafting is beautiful. The company is easy to communicate with, accurate in every step, safe and responsible. They take little kids as well, which is a great advantage for families with kids. And they are patient with every rafter. The river was shallow at the end of summer, and the guide took us down the river smoothly despite technical difficulty.See more..
We went on a two day one night trip, rafting, fishing, and concert on the rocks with Jefferson State outfitters! The guides were amazing, the food was so yummy, and lots of memories were made. I felt so safe going down class 4 rapids especially with never doing anything like that before! If your looking for a great time make sure to contact this awesome company. Davey and Genesis were amazing and always made sure we felt safe and stayed in the boat. They know so much about the river and teaching you everything to know about rafting! We will be back soon!See more..
Our 2-hour morning cruise with Preston and Chennie was like hanging out with old friends, enjoying a calm day on the river. We picked up some wind upriver and were able to sail for a bit too; sunshine and breeze, reggae jams, snacks and stories made the trip memorable and relaxing. Will definitely recommend to others and will probably be back soon to do it again!See more..
5.0JO Paddle(25 reviews) - Great time Kayaking on Lake Wallowa with JO Paddle. Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours • Night Tours • Gear Rentals • Boat Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
We had a fantastic time on Lake Wallowa. We did a three hour kayak experience from the north end with JO paddle. This family own business puts their heart and soul into providing you the best experience on the water. We enjoyed our time immensely and highly recommend this experience. At the end of our time on the water, the owner gave us numerous tips about other hikes and activities that we could do in the area. So the next time you’re in Joseph Oregon I would highly recommend that you rent kayaks or stand up paddle boards with JO paddle. We have rented kayaks in the San Juan Islands, Seattle Washington and other places and JO Paddle was by far the best experience we’ve ever had.See more..

I wanted to have a leisurely paddle along the Upper Klamath Canoe trail and I’m glad I chose these guys for this. Not wanting a guided tour, we popped into the shop to hire a tandem kayak. The owner was very helpful and provided useful information for the area. For a very reasonable fee he dropped us off and came to collect the kayak when we were done. We followed to the launch area in the car so that we could go off in our own direction once finished. We launched from Malone spring and paddled for an hour and a half before turning around. The trail was beautiful and very easy. The only hiccup we came across was the mosquitos at the launch area, however, the very friendly guy had some spray in his truck and offered it to us. If you’re considering hiring anything in the area, I would strongly recommend you use these guys. Helpful, polite, armed with mosquito repellent! See more..
