This is a stunning display worth driving all day to see. You WILL need to purchase tickets beforehand, especially on weekends. Pictures fail to capture the sheer intensity of 40 acres of tulips beautifully curated. It is a fair type environment with an array of food trucks and children’s activities. Allow at least an hour and be ready to take spectacular photos.See more..

This was our second visit and once again we were very happy. The Roloffs had to contend with the pandemic and in both mine and my families opinion they did an excellent job. Of course there was less to do due to social distancing but they offered value for the price which was decreased, of course, because of limited options and in our opinion very reasonable. The family is very amicable and though we don’t watch the show we, as most people, are familiar with and despite this the Roloffs are very welcoming and gracious. We chatted a bit with Matt Roloff and felt more like guests than customers. We will continue to go and strongly recommend it. See more..
There are many orchards in the Willamette Valley area that have turned themselves into destinations with markets, play areas for the kids, activities for families etc. They are fun. This one has made a niche from turning their produce into product. The variety and quality of the pies they sell is excellent. Available in local stores, and often utilized for group fundraisers, the pies are available elsewhere, but a trip to their location is one of the few ways to get them fresh rather than frozen. Not a lot extra to do, but a nice little excursion for buying pies.See more..
4.5Red Ridge Farms(72 reviews) - Durant and Red Ridge Farms is well worth a visit Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Wineries & Vineyards • Farms
For more than 45 years, our family has grown wine grapes, acting as stewards of the land on the hillside we call home. Since then our vision has grown to include Durant Vineyards Winery & Tasting Room, award winning Durant Olive Mill extra virgin olive oil, Durant Culinary, Durant Body Care, a specialty plant nursery, gift shop, overnight lodging, event spaces and expansive gardens. Our history here in the Willamette Valley – now spanning 5 generations – began with English Walnuts, Hazelnuts, Italian Prunes, and Cherries. In 1973 our family was among the first in Oregon to attempt growing wine grapes in the Dundee Hills. We believe that great wine is not created in the cellar; it is nurtured and shaped by the land. Durant Vineyards wines reflect the true nature of each vintage, the unique terroir of the Dundee Hills and our family’s meticulous farming methods.See more..
Found this place on Trip Advisor and figured it was worth a visit. We spent well over an hour wandering thru the buildings and yard. John was friendly, helpful and entertaining while we scavenged thru all the treasures. His place is well organized, prices were quite good and we found a number of pieces that we loved. Great place if you like antiques, yard art, old furniture or rusty stuff!!! Loved it!See more..
From friendly, knowledgeable staff to great local farm fresh vegetables, and absolutely wonderful hard ciders this is a great place. You can buy just about any plant or tree in their nursery. Inside they offer a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, popcorns, and gifts. All that being said, this was a cider run! If you like to try or buy different ciders Baumans has you covered. The strawberry mojito cider was definitely a favorite. If you like different tastes try the vanilla bourbon cider. I'm not sure how many they truly carry but I'm sure it's at least an easy dozen. The bottles are $8 each and you can buy growlers too. Or if you like you can get a glass or a tray of samples. Anyway small batch and delicious!See more..
4.0Fir Point Farms(40 reviews) - I love Fir Point Farms Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Farms
I love this place. My grandson and I have been going here for years. He loves the hot dogs and ice cream (I like the sandwiches) before running to feed the animals. He also loves playing on "Noah's Ark" and the Allis Chalmers tractor, along with other good old fashioned fun things to do. Fir Point is a delightful place with really lovely people working there. The only time the hours were unpredictable was during COVID and I trust they were doing their best to be thoughtful of their employees as well as the community that they serve.See more..

5.0Kiyokawa Family Orchards(33 reviews) - If you like fresh apples and pears start your motor! Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Farms
We live in the area and consume large amounts of fruit. We have been to all the fruit stands in the valley and this is our favorite by a wide margin. Located a bit off the main highway #35 but worth the ten minute drive. Huge selection of fresh apples and pears. New product brought out of their storage every day. We were there two weeks ago and there were ten varieties of pears and 40 varieties of apples. The stand continues into the winter as long as they have quality fruit to sell. During the week in the winters it operates on the honor system. Just finished eating a monster Jonagold apple. Crisp. Sweet. Juice running down my arm. We will head over to the stand this weekend. Do not miss this one.See more..

4.0Draper Girls Country Farm(23 reviews) - Will I ever find a cider this good again? Spent < 1 hour Farms
Owners were so friendly, informative, and wonderful. We did a tasting and enjoyed them all. The owners were clearly excited about each of their ciders. The tasting was well done, starting dry and ending sweet. I ended up liking the one that I was most surprised about. We stayed a bit longer and drank a ten ounce glass of our favorite. We even left with a growler of the lavender for tomorrow. The goats were super friendly and they have the BEST view of mount hood. Fully snow capped, which made for a great backdrop to enjoy our cider. I wish they bottled their ciders, but I understand why they do not. Amazing place. You should 100% stop here and support this family business.See more..

4.5Mt. View Orchards(15 reviews) - Hospitality, view and yummy fruit abound. Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Farms
Great time picking our own fruit. We only wanted a small amount (about one grocery bag full), but we had a great time picking our own. Variety of winter pears, apples, and a few peaches left on the trees all within about 100 yards of the parking area. Most were about 50 cents a pound and up to $1/lb for honey crisp apples. Best price we saw in the area on fresh pressed apple cider. They were pressing it while we were there. Great variety of home made jams/jellys, dried fruit, etc. Family was there helping out and showing folks around. And they live up to the name, the view of Mt Hood is fantastic. Well worth the few minutes of extra driving from the more high traffic areas of the "fruit loop."See more..
5.0Childers' Raspberry Farm(14 reviews) - Wonderful family farm, will always cherish the memories Farms
This family farm has become one of my favorite honeymoon memories. We stopped into the farm 20 minutes before it closed. The friendly ladies gave us buckets and pointed us in the direction of the fields. The raspberries were lush and plentiful. We could have picked thousands of the ripe berries!! Upon returning to the barn to weigh our berries, the ladies learned we were on our honeymoon and gifted us the berries and and their secret recipe books! We will always stop at Childers' Raspberry Farm on our trips to Oregon to enjoy their delicious berries.See more..

4.5Mount Hood Organic Farm(9 reviews) - Very good selection of organic apples and pears Farms
This place is off the beaten path - one of the last orchards as you travel south towards Mt. Hood from Hood River. But my wife prefers organic fruits. We visited on a very quiet Monday afternoon - very few visitors while we were there. A very nice Hispanic man helped us with our selections and encouraged us to sample some slices from the large bins of apples and pears. In mid-October, there must have been at least 20 varieties of apples and pears. Prices are very reasonable and the building was very nice - one of the nicest on the Fruit Loop. The grounds are beautiful, with great views of the surrounding mountains.See more..
I've been with my husband and with friends and had a fabulous time. My husband and I went to pick lavender and the selection is fantastic. With french and english lavender and culinary varieties they had exactly what we wanted. My friends and I brought a picnic basket of wine and snacks and sat near the upper fields enjoying the company while taking in the scenery. The staff is friendly and the price is right. They provide baskets and scissors so you really just need to show up.See more..
i was recently in the Applegate area, indulging in the wine and beauty and food of the area. And I had notices that there was a spot tucked away (not that far) called Lavender Fields Forever. Off I went and I was delighted to find this wonderful little farm tucked away. I spent several excellent hours visiting with the owners, John and Bonnie. Chatting about the farm, the varieties of lavender....many to choose from, the wonderful products they offer in the gift shop and life in general. John was demonstration the process of distilling the lavender oil which I also found fascinating. A great visit and I hope you will look them up when next in the valley. I plan on dropping in again when next I can.See more..

5.0Valley View Orchards(5 reviews) - such fun and very painless Spent 1-2 hours Farms
Pie cherries in my back yard.. who knew? Trying to find things I could do with our 7 year old grandson, and loving pie cherries, I happened upon the happy serendipity that Valley View Orchards had just opened their cherry season. 1st stop the "store" where you pick up your bucket and they tell you where all the cherries are located. The pie cherries need no netting and are absolutely LOADED with beautiful bright cherry-red cherries... perfectly ripe! The trees are fairly loaded, so it is an easy pick. Then off to the Bing and other black cherries... not quite as sweet as I've tasted elsewhere, but again an easy pick. Then back to the store to get weighed. $5.50 for U-pick, and $6.50 for already picked. Bring your own containers to carry your fruit home. WEar covered toe shoes as you are tramping on uneven ground w/ dried grass. Grandson LOVED the experience. I'll certainly be back for their peaches!See more..

5.0Lakeview Farms(1 review) - LAKEVIEW FARMS- THE PERFECT PUMKIN PATCH Wednesday: Spent 1-2 hours Farms Great place to bring the family to select your pumpkin from large fields of colorful, and abundant pumpkins of all colors, sizes and shapes. Take the train out to the field, select your pumpkins and take the stern wheeler boat ride back. Lots of activities for kids, including Pony Rides and a Corn Maze, plus a nice shop with gifts and treats. Pumpkins are priced very fairly by size (not by pound) and we bought a huge pumpkin for less than 20 dollars. Overall, a great place to spend the day with your family, search for the right pumpkin, and enjoy the beautiful weather and hospitality.See more..
My wife and I visited for an olive oil tasting and tour in March. Exceeded expectations. We learned so much from Elaine and Chris about tasting, choosing, cultivating, harvesting, etc, etc, olives. We were especially interested in learning the crucially important difference between harvesting and bottling dates, and the impact of time on taste. It was fascinating to hear about how a recent devastating area wildfire impacted the orchard and the (positive and unusual) taste profile of that year's harvest. Highly recommended.See more..
4.0Papa's Pumpkin Patch(1 review) - Cute, Affordable Family Pumpkin Patch! Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Farms We visited Papa's Pumpkin Patch last year for the first time. We decided to go again this year because it's one of the closest ones to our house and they are open till 6 on the weekdays! We love it! It's a cute little family owned farm that their goal is to provide pumpkins at a reasonable price to families, unlike the bigger farms who over charge for their pumpkins and charge the cost of admission just to get on the farm. It definitely doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but it's a cute patch and the staff are so friendly! We love supporting local businesses, and will definitely be back!See more..
