    The falls were ot dry.
This waterfall is certainly worth the stop. It is right off the road. It was busy but we waited a minute to get a parking spot. There is an easy path to a lookout but if you can take the steps down to the falls. There is a $3 fee collected at a fee station. We put our money in the envelope but then it looks like a national park pass would be accepted. There are restrooms. Very close to HIghlands. You can walk behind the falls. We weren't expecting there to be much water since it hasn't rained for awhile but there was plenty.

    Beautiful falls
This waterfall was close to Highlands North Carolina off Highway 128. Parking can sometimes be a little difficult but just be patient it’s worth the wait. Once you park there are some stairs that take you down to the fall but it’s not too far. Getting closer to the fall be careful as it can be a little slippery. The fall itself is quite pretty and unique because you can actually walk behind the water and experience it that way. There is plenty of beautiful nature around. You could probably see most everything in an hour or less and plenty of photo opportunities. And it’s totally free as well so definitely nice!!
