There were many people who made our kayaking experience wonderful! From being greeted, to transporting us to the launch site, carrying our kayaks and helping us get settled into them, then helping us out at the end and transporting us back to our car. This company was very easy to deal with online. Did not have to contact them any other way. the exception being when they arrived and did all the heavy lifting. Came on time to drop off and pick up ... made the rental of 2 single and 3 double kayaks as painless as possible. This was our first time at Lake Norman, and I wanted to understand the lake better, so we rented a pontoon boat online. Then we picked up some subs, brought suntan lotion and towels with us and went to the marina. We had to watch a 15-minute video about boat safety, sign some papers, and have an inspection of our boat. They were careful to explain everything about the function of the boat and if we damaged something what the charge would be. And off we went for 4 hours. When we found a quiet spot, we went swimming off the boat. I was surprised at how big the lake is. It was a whole lot of fun! Westport checked our boat out when we brought it back and said everything was fine. It was a very good experience, and the people were easy to work with! Our pontoon boat was especially nice and looked new.See more..
