My 15 year old son and I climb occasionally indoors and have had a few outdoor trips. We were in Boone for a short time and last minute decided to try to climb. Rock Dimensions, though they usually require more lead time, was so accommodating and got us a guide. Ryan took us out for a half day just outside of town. It was a beautiful spot in the woods with lots of routes. Safety- both climbing and Covid 19- was excellent. Ryan warmed us up on easier routes and worked us up to challenging ones. He instinctively knew when to let us figure things out and when to give us coaching. In just a few hours we got to climb multiple routes, and we had a fantastic time. From here on out we plan on calling Rock Dimensions every time we are in town. See more..
