We tend to stop at the Antique Marketplace when we're in the area. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and found the largest number of patrons we've ever seen.....it's good to see a local business doing well. There are always a variety of interesting items. We browsed for awhile, bought one small item, and were on our way. We'll go backSee more..

4.5French Connections(47 reviews) - Not Just Yard Art Spent 1-2 hours Speciality & Gift Shops • Art Galleries • Antique Shops
Since I'm not into yard art, I overlooked this place until a neighbor said they have fabulous international fabrics and one of a kind items. I'm not sure why they have an African and a French vibe, but it works. They even had "oilcloth" which is really vinyl laminated fabrics which can be hard to find in anything other than red gingham.See more..
I have loved this antique showcase for odd things I wanted here and there for home decor (floor vases; owl figurines; art glass… all have gotten my wallet out) But nothing matches taking an elderly parent, having them laugh and go somewhere fun for a bit (not even any purchase necessary; though I’ve never succeeded. I always find something.). This place is clean, the displays are organized but shown off in a very tasteful manner. The inventory is a bit of nearly anything from decades gone. A must.See more..
Me and my husband really love antiquing and checking out new places to explore. The Sandford Antique Mall was on a flier that I found a while back so today we decided to visit! From the outside it does not look that big and seems nice but nothing special just your average antique shop. Inside it’s organized, clean and easy to move around. There is an amazing amount of space and things to find for all collectors. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you feel like you are getting lost the staff are available. Upstairs is amazingly huge. Never thought one place could hold so much stuff and remain fun to explore. It was a lot of fun and we plan to visit again.See more..
We stopped by this place today and it is awesome. We did not have time to go through the whole place because it is huge but we are planning to return in a couple of days and have some fun. Records, toys, antiques etc. anything and everything. Place was well lit, clean and huge. A must do when in the area. See more..
4.5Collector's Antique Mall(31 reviews) - the best antique store in Asheboro Saturday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops • Shopping Malls
Look for the train mural (with working headlight) on the side of the building and you will know you are at the right store. It's open 363 days a year and is in the old B.C. Moore department store. The antique store grew so much they had to take over the Big Bear Supermarket building next door. It's over 35,000 square feet of great stuff from antiques, collectibles, shabby chic, toys, primitives, furniture, housewares, books, jewelry, NC pottery, etc. If you're looking for something you will probably find it here (I usually walk out with something).See more..
4.0Piccolo Antique Mall(30 reviews) - very easy to get around Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Antique Shops
This was a very easy building to maneuver. It's 22,000 sq. ft. and had a few cluttered booths but mostly the booths were well organized. We walked out with some items we didn't even know we needed. Just look for the Statue of Liberty and you will know you are there.See more..
Nice treasure hunting and decent prices. Found a few things and will go back! Worth a look if you like browsing. Neat and clean, not junky.See more..
4.5Gaston Pickers(23 reviews) - Whoa, baby! Lot's o' Stuff! Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Antique Shops
If you are into antiquing, Gaston Pickers in Gastonia, NC is a must. There's 28,000 sq. ft. with over 140 vendors. The quality and quantity is good, diverse, and in many cases, very unique. Prices are at basic antique retail value, but I have found that throughout North and South Carolina, prices for antiques are similar. (In my humble opinion, the only real bargains in terms of pricing are at estate sales, auctions, flea markets, and yard sales)--but Gaston Pickers merchandise so well, that you get the opportunity to see how the item might fit into your house. Go. You won't be disappointed.See more..

After we stumbled across this place a couple of years ago, I knew we would keep returning and we have. They have over 18,000 sq. ft. of anything you could possibly be looking for, including unusual and unique items. They offer complimentary cokes, coffee, and cake as you walk in the door. They also have a "general store" where you can find old fashioned candy, chocolates, homemade goodies, and jar goods. I always get their double dipped chocolate covered peanuts. If you are in the area you really should check this place out. If you are miles away, plan a day trip. You won't be disappointed.See more..

4.0Cline's Country Antiques(14 reviews) - If Don doesn't have it, it probably can't be found! Antique Shops
If you're looking for just about anything you can find it at Cline's. Best time to visit is on a cool, overcast day, early in the AM so you can beat the heat, not get burned & beat the crowd. Be prepared to walk & don't wear "good" clothes as you will encounter some dust & dirt on just about anything you get but it's worth it. You will find things you didn't even know existed here & Don knows a little bit about everything and a lot about a lot. See more..
We recently had the honor to visit SELMA, N.CAROLINA and had the chance to visit MR.McLAMB at his antique's mall, what a pleasure! We found the folks in the south so friendly. Being from(Connecticut) were use to people much colder) The charm of this town is awesome, we cant wait to return.! We currently own a antique store in Connecticut, But loved the ww2 army uniform and had to have it for my own collection! The help at TWM'S ANTIQUES was outstanding, Sorry I'm terrible at names and I forgot this woman who helped me name,SORRY I bought the ww2 army uniform from you, you were so helpful and friendly! We want to relocate to this area and hope it happens!!(soon) :-)See more..
I love perusing the shop! They have an excellent collection of art, furniture, candles and local treats. They specialize in local, southern and primitive items. Over the last few years, I have found for myself or have been given a gift by my family things including an armoire for my quilts, a front door wreath, beautiful candles, an inspirational sign and a beautiful painting of a barn! The only issue I have is that they have so many wonderful things you can't spot them all, but I guess that is a pretty great problem to have!See more..
The first time we visited this place we were on our way to a day of antiquing in Asheboro. We saw the sign and turned around (it looks like it might be in an old grocery store or KMart). They were only about half full but I could tell it was going to turn into a good place. They also hold auctions in the back on certain days. They are now full of everything from A to Z. Great selections. The people working there are so nice and friendly. The aisles are clear and the booths aren't cluttered which makes it easy to get around and see everything. It does not have a confusing maze-like layout that can be frustrating. The last 2 times I've been there I wanted to come home with a "rocking boar/pig" but I'm hoping the price will eventually come down some. As a pig collector I want it sitting in front of one of our fireplaces. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. I don't think you will be disappointed.See more..
The building, built in the 1930s, was the local Shell gas station and is listed on the historic registry. This place goes on my list of "must visit again" antique shops. Collectibles are our thing and this place sure had them. If you are looking for a Hoosier cabinet they have/had a pale green one that was in wonderful shape. If I'd had a place for it I would have walked out with it. We did walk out with a few smaller things we didn't even know we needed.See more..
This is a pretty large store with a variety of antique and collectible vendors. There are some empty spaces, but not many. Prices are usually not too bad on most items. See more..
The establishment has an educational history as being an old cotton mill. The mill has been replaced as a flea market type business with some nice antiques such as furniture, fixtures and old childrens' toys. However, dogs and cats (of owners, not customers) are allowed to roam freely throughout the building. So there is animal hair and a stench in different areas. I would recommend go prepared to encounter the animals but you may just find a treasure from times past.See more..
4.5West Main Antiques(10 reviews) - Great quality, Friendly service Antique Shops
Fantastic antique mall. This little mall has quality primitives, vintage, antiques and other collectibles. It’s one of the best we have been too with consistent quality throughout the store . Most all of the vendors have a really good eye for staging their booths. Prices are fair for the quality offered. We would highly recommend a visit here for quality pieces.See more..
3.5The Old Hardware Antiques(10 reviews) - mostly furniture/no collectibles Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Antique Shops
This building was a Ford agency in 1920 and then became a hardware store and mule auction center. It isn't cluttered at all and is easy to get around. Unfortunately it's more furniture and new item than collectibles. Be sure to grab a bite to eat at the Dewberry Deli and Soda Fountain downstairs. They do have a/c and it tries to work (still warm in there) but the ceiling fans helped to move the air around.See more..

This mall is just a short ride from the interstate so I highly recommend you stop by!See more..
3.0Boones Antiques(9 reviews) - Over 4 acres of antiques Antique Shops
There are 2 large warehouses full of mostly furniture. They also have some porcelain, pottery, brass, copper, silver, and glass items. The second building in the back is full of furniture and has garden and architectural items. If you are looking for collectibles (like we are) you won't find any here. But, they do have a good selection of rocking horses if that's your thing. I would suggest going on a cool day because both the warehouses are very hot. If you are looking for furniture this is a place you really have to check out.See more..

3.5Bostic & Wilson Antiques(7 reviews) - Great time “antique” hunting! Spent 1-2 hours Antique Shops
We were looking for an “antique” shop to explore and revisited this one again after 15 years at least. It’s a wonderland maze of lots of “stuff”, from large furniture pieces to small figurines. If you like searching for that lost treasure that you didn’t know you needed, you will probably really enjoy the adventure. There are so many items and rows to visit that you will wish you had a basket to hold your small finds along the way. The assistants there were very pleasant and willing to work with you! It was a fun time and you can certainly spend lots of time visiting there.See more..
Many flea markets just offer the type of things you would see at a yard sale. Not this place. It's more of an antique/collectibles market. It was august and it was extremely hot inside (with the large open garage-type doors) so we didn't spend as much time in there as I would have liked. It's well organized and wide open. I want to go back on a cool day.See more..
4.5Uniquitiques(6 reviews) - Unique Gifts galore including cowboy boots, clothing, costume jewelry, and Southern tee shirts Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops • Antique Shops
Locals and out-of-towners will enjoy shopping at this timeless boutique. It's a little treasure trove of boots, bangles, dresses, candles, hats, pins, and myriad floral scented lotions. Probably not a good idea to bring small children as the rooms are chock full of beautiful, distracting items, but a great place for women with an individual sense of style.See more..
5.0Screaming For Vintage(6 reviews) - Like Walking into the 60s and 70s! Spent < 1 hour Antique Shops
Someone time traveled and rounded up all of the best furniture from the 60s and 70s. These folks have all kinds of things ranging from decor items to clothing to very high-end mid century modern furniture. The current operators did a masterful job renovating what had been the Beggars and Choosers store. The new space is bright and open and has just the right amount of merchandise. I'm still swooning over a gorgeous navy blue enameled 60s fireplace in there! Two thumbs up!See more..
