This was a wonderful tour. The water was dead calm in most places, so absolutely ideal conditions for whale watching. The vessel was amazing, with lots of vantage points to see the sights. The captain was committed to making sure we had the best possible chance to see whales, and went out of his way to explore the area in search of them. The whole crew made every effort to make sure that we were comfortable and were enjoying ourselves. Wilma was extremely knowledgeable and took extra steps to ensure that everyone could hear what she was saying. This tour provided outstanding value for the money, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone considering a whale watching tour. See more..

First things first this was our first time on the West Coast, and specifically in Vancouver! This activity was absolutely amazing. Not to mention, our excellent captain/skipper Jeremy was super enthusiastic, funny and intriguing. He did an excellent job keeping the environment light and fun while keeping it super informative (I.e., the huge yellow pile is sulfur). We turned up and, after waiting for the train to move through the crossing, parked up and more or less walked straight onto a boat. There had just been a bear sighting so Dillon took us off to the location and lo and behold we were privileged to see a black bear mother and her two cubs travelling along the river bank. Dillon did well to keep noise to a minimum and worked the paddle so we could follow their progress. we left them and looked for more but without success #, though travelling at speed along the river was fun in itself. we were then transferred onto a catamaran for the return journey. very tranquil and we got to see a heron and an osprey. I had a chat with a man, who turned out to be the owner, upon reaching dry land and he had some very interesting stories to tell. Well worth it.See more..
Fantastic day trip to see the grizzly bears in the wild. Boat was very comfortable and spacious so that everyone got great views of the bears. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.....would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Prince Rupert. The captain tried his very best to let us see a whale but unfortunately it didn't happen.See more..
We had a wonderful 4 days at the end of August. Their website describing the trip is excellent as it tells you exactly what you are going to get in terms of accommodation and potential physical challenges, so there were no surprises Jamie was a terrific guide, an excellent helmsman, and the boat felt incredibly safe. We lucked into 4 days of really good weather so cannot say whether 4 days of rain (or even 1, for that matter) would have been made the trip less interesting and enjoyable. The staff on board were all very friendly and told the guests all about the history of the lake, islands and surrounding area. We got in line even earlier than the instructions stated so that we could get the best seats on the outside top area. There are only about 18 seats upstairs. We were able to get right at the front. It was a very relaxing 2 hour cruise until we got within 1/2 hour of coming back. The wind picked up and was really crazy. There is a small menu of food and drinks offered at an additional charge, including hot dogs and burgers.See more..

We just had a wonderful experience in Lytton, BC with the crew from Hyak Wilderness Adventures. A five (plus) hour of pure entertainment and adrenaline rush of White Water Rafting. Super scenic, our guides (pilots) are knowledgeable, experienced and witty. We had also the opportunity to see the wildlife, bears, mountain sheep, eagles, etc. Going through the rapids was a great experience. It was worth every penny and minute we spent on it.See more..

Can highly recommend hopping on a boat during a heatwave to cool down!! On our incredible Zodiac tour we were lucky enough to spot (and smell) humpback whales, TWO transient orca pods, a floating napping sealion(!!) and of course the beautiful natural scenery. Jen is a very experienced, knowledgeable and respectful guide. She is also clearly passionate about the well-being of these beautiful sea-creatures, being mindful of their space and future. We were impressed to hear that part the fee went towards community projects on Quadra Island that help to restore and maintain ecological integrity. All of her gear is in great condition (loved the cosy brand new floater suits) and we felt very safe and well looked after. We recently had the opportunity to experience an 8 day adventure exploring the Great Bear Rainforest and the coastal fjords of BC’s coast. Captain Peter (Ragnar) and the Seawolf were the base of our operations as we moved from secluded bay to secluded bay. From humpbacks and dolphins, to fishing for dinner, to lunch on a distant beach every day was a new adventure. Peter’s calm demeanor and extensive sea knowledge made this adventure a must repeat as there is so much more to explore. Being new to sailing and helming the boat with full sails was an experience we won’t soon forget. Highly recommend extending the base trip (6 days) to 8 so that you have time in the morning to relax and beachcomb more before heading to the next day’s anchorage. Till next time See more..

Another fabulous fishing experience with Go Fish Charters. Regan and Sylvie are very knowledgable and generous with their expertise. Their boat is a great place for young anglers learning the ropes. This year they held my 12 year old son in the boat and coached him through reeling in a 22 pound Chinook Salmon. And then repeated with an 18 pounder half an hour later. Unbelievable. They are also very nice people and a lot of fun. We had a fun time bottom bouncing. A big bag of prawns was the icing on the cake. We'll be back again next summer.See more..

My family had a great day on the water with Daniel. You can tell this was a guy who loves his job and knows his stuff. This is much more than just a ‘look over there’ tour as he had pictures and stories of what we were seeing. All 11 passengers felt like they were out for a day on the water with family rather than a guide we met hours before. The hot springs was worth visiting, the waterfall was spectacular, and the hike to the Big Cedar was eventful with a bear on the trail. To top it off, a grilled salmon lunch may have been the most scenic meal we’ve ever had. The only downside may have been Daniel telling my 3 boys to eat whatever they wanted as I’m fairly certain they are their weight in snacks. This tour company had unmatched customer service and excellent tour experience!! Due to unforeseen circumstances my tour had to be cancelled. My tour guide tried to leave me a phone message but since my phone had no service on the island I did not receive the message and met for the tour. When no one showed up I messaged the tour company. They responded quickly and looked into the issue, getting back to me and letting me know they would do everything they could. They refunded my money and offered me an evening tour after hours the following night so as not to interrupt my plans for that day. When I met for the tour I was greeted with a gift basket and a really nice hoodie! The tour was incredible with amazing views and a friendly guide. We saw several whales along the way! I absolutely give Shuswap Water Sports a 5 start rating!! I originally booked a tour (July 2020) to check out the Lake and see Copper Canyon, we anchored there for a bit, as some of our group wanted to go cliff jumping. My family and friends had such a great time, we booked again for the next day to learn how to wake surf.....Dianne was our coach for the day, she was extremely safety orientated, with Covid-19 practice's in place, professional, and patient with all of us. My experience with All In Marina was excellent. I had an addition battery installed in my boat, an oil change, trailer bearings re-packed, and boat detailing done. The work was done very well and the pricing was, I thought, more than fair. Trevor explained every he would do and then did everything exactly as he said. I had his assistance in getting our boat out from the underground storage at our condo, stored the boat at their yard and got valet service during the summer, and then help again putting the boat away at the end of the year. It can accommodate at least a dozen people but it was great to have it to ourselves. First we dropped some crab traps and then discussed where we could go. Brek is very flexible and explained the options. We decided on the South Bentinck arm: we went to the hot springs, saw the beautiful water falls, crossed to the east shore and hiked into see the big cedar tree (almost 2,000 years old, about a 1 hr hike), had a picnic lunch and sped back until we saw a couple of bears on the shore and stopped to watch them. The sun was shining, it was warm and we had a most enjoyable day. We had the hot springs to ourselves and never saw anyone else, anywhere. Finally, we picked up some crab.
