We were here in July and there were too many people on the pier no one practicing social distancing. You would have to constantly move aside to keep the distance. But it was really nice to walk out at sunset and watch the sunset. It was quite a long walk. You can feel the difference between the older parts compared to the newer parts that were replaced. You feel more movement on the older part. If you are in WR definitely take a walk out on this pier the ocean sunset is really beautiful. See more..

    - Hard to get a parking spot

The wharf is located in a roundabout so it was hard to find a parking spot there. We were lucky that a vehicle was leaving and we got the spot, otherwise, I was not sure of where else to park. Just before walking onto the wharf, there are a few picnic tables for you to enjoy the view. Walking on the wharf was nice. A small cafe located at the end of the wharf but no tables nor chairs were around as I think it's the CoVid pandemic. See more..

I was super excited to visit BC as it gave me the opportunity to see the ocean in Canada. The fresh water lakes are beautiful but the vastness of ocean is just unbeatable. And the moment I landed in Vancouver I wanted to see the ocean from the nearest I could. My wish was fulfilled and my hosts took me to white rock. The experience was marvellous and I am planning to go back there with my family soon. See more..

While much of Canada sees snow, you can fast forward to Spring. Just take a walk along the Quay, and enjoy the buds and flowers. Check out the photos - mine and others - in this regard. And, same great river views. See more..
