We attended the PGSO's 'O Canada! Celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday" at the Vanier Hall venue. The show had much variety as it also featured some child stars, who were so talented and amazing, from the Young Canadian Music Festival, the Khast'an drummers, female Tapestry Singers choir along with the selection of Canadian music played by the professional symphony directed by Michael Hall. For a special 150th birthday show for Canada, the organizers devised a great program. We bought our tickets and chose our seats at the door. I hope to attend more of the over 15 concerts this year. We sat in the 3rd row from the front and the sound was exquisite, but if you want to see the horn section, get seats further back. Micheal Hall, the conductor does before and after the show talks, so plan to go early also. See more..
