We did the flight to Phantom Lake and it was awesome! We had the floatplane for our family of three. The pilot was great and told us a lot about everything we could see and could ask. The landing and take off on Phantom Lake was superb. Up there, we were all alone, no sound but nature and glorious views all around us. We had almost 45 minutes on the lake / at the shore, to take a small walk, put our feet in the (freezing) water, and enjoy and admire the surroundings. Highly recommended for everyone!See more..

First things first this was our first time on the West Coast, and specifically in Vancouver! This activity was absolutely amazing. Not to mention, our excellent captain/skipper Jeremy was super enthusiastic, funny and intriguing. He did an excellent job keeping the environment light and fun while keeping it super informative (I.e., the huge yellow pile is sulfur). Had a blast rafting with Rafting Adventures! Although it was mid September, these guys have the right equipments to keep you comforably warm. What an fantastic river with some nice surprises. Harry and Sam are very fun and enthusiastic in what they do, that makes the rafting experience even more joyable. Definitely go rafting when you are in Clearwater with these guys.See more..
Fantastic day trip to see the grizzly bears in the wild. Boat was very comfortable and spacious so that everyone got great views of the bears. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.....would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Prince Rupert. The captain tried his very best to let us see a whale but unfortunately it didn't happen.See more..

We had a great experience with Whistler Valley tours on their Sunday tour to the Beer Farmers brewery in Pemberton. We had a wonderful 4 days at the end of August. Their website describing the trip is excellent as it tells you exactly what you are going to get in terms of accommodation and potential physical challenges, so there were no surprises Jamie was a terrific guide, an excellent helmsman, and the boat felt incredibly safe. We lucked into 4 days of really good weather so cannot say whether 4 days of rain (or even 1, for that matter) would have been made the trip less interesting and enjoyable. It certainly would have been more challenging, I think. Loved it all.See more..

The staff on board were all very friendly and told the guests all about the history of the lake, islands and surrounding area. We got in line even earlier than the instructions stated so that we could get the best seats on the outside top area. There are only about 18 seats upstairs. We were able to get right at the front. It was a very relaxing 2 hour cruise until we got within 1/2 hour of coming back. The wind picked up and was really crazy. There is a small menu of food and drinks offered at an additional charge, including hot dogs and burgers.See more..

Thank you for taking us on such a fabulous adventure for my 70th B'day celebration. The entire experience could not have been better, and your skills and knowledge are mind-blowing of our beautiful ecosystem, geography, flying skills and the care and attention that you give to each participant. What a magical experience for my 1st attempt at Kayaking. I could have spent the whole day just fishing on the edge of Paradise Lake it is truly beautiful. I especially liked that you did not want any of the pop to be poured out onto the beach sand, rather securing it and transporting the left-over back to the airport for proper drainage. I took over 75 photos, but cut them down to just over 50 last night. I can't wait for the drone photos that Compass Heli Tours took during the tour. Thank you Nic. The most peaceful, fun, interest-peaking part of our trip to Cortez. We have been visiting Cortez Island for years and finally decided to pay a little more for a cruise to Desolation Sounds with Misty Isles Adventures. It was absolutely worth every penny and more. Jonas and Tosh were incredibly kind, passionate and informative mariners, historians and naturalists. My wife and I and our teenage kids thoroughly enjoyed the day. I would recommend this for anyone young or old or in between.See more..
Josh and his team at Wild Ways have been fantastic helping us while on our summer holiday in Christina Lake. My partner and I had a few nagging issues with our ebikes and Josh resolved them for us quickly. He was also super helpful with info about local bike trails, and I was thrilled that Wild Ways has a (for fee) shuttle service up to the top of some of the trails. We recently had the opportunity to experience an 8 day adventure exploring the Great Bear Rainforest and the coastal fjords of BC’s coast. Captain Peter (Ragnar) and the Seawolf were the base of our operations as we moved from secluded bay to secluded bay. From humpbacks and dolphins, to fishing for dinner, to lunch on a distant beach every day was a new adventure. Peter’s calm demeanor and extensive sea knowledge made this adventure a must repeat as there is so much more to explore. Being new to sailing and helming the boat with full sails was an experience we won’t soon forget. Highly recommend extending the base trip (6 days) to 8 so that you have time in the morning to relax and beachcomb more before heading to the next day’s anchorage. Till next time See more..

We spent a magical 7 days with Yoho Adventures on the Cariboo Chilcontin Coast trip in beautiful British Colombia this past August and cannot say enough wonderful things about the whole experience. Every moment of the trip far succeed our expectations -- the scenery, the wildlife, the fresh air, .. and the food!!! Cristina and Ben go over the top -- there is no detail they havent thought of. They take you along the road less travelled so you dont feel like you're on yet another tourist trip and are so knowledgeable about all of their surroundings. Truly a unique experience, one we will forever remember. We will most definitely book another trip with Cristina & Ben and are already planning our next vacation to New Zealand to do some single track mountain biking with them!See more..
This tour gives a very interesting look into the ancient fishing methods of the local first nations, as well as a tour of the historic pit houses they used to live in during the winter. All of this in a very scenic setting along the Fraser river. The tour guides were very friendly and showed us how the salmon are cut and how they hang them to dry. We were able to taste some of the wind dried salmon as well! The lunch that was provided after was excellent and consisted of salad, salmon and bannock. Recently took the 3 hour Talheo cannery tour through Inner Coast Inlet Tours and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Owner/guide Garrett picked us up from the Bella Coola dock and shuttled us across to the cannery. He gave us a enlightening tour of cannery and grounds and a glimpse into Bella Coola's past.
