We walked along the sandstone beach from the Surf Lodge and Pub on Berry Point Road out to Orlebar Point and had a wonderful view of the Entrance Island Lighthouse. There is some limited parking and there are picnic tables and benches for public use. Great place for a snack or to sip a coffee. The beach is quite unique with all of its wind and wave-carved sandstone. Lots of interesting patterns and textures and fabulous views. See more..

We have been diving with Earl Lowe before and you want a local captain to put you in these amazingly rich and high current cold water sites. They are awesome but can kick your butt with fickle current. Earl is a man of few words but skilled in local waters. He dives as well (I have seen it!!!) and that makes his knowledge underwater really great too. He arranged a group trip for 9 divers (and one non diver). Earl put us up at the Quadra Island Lodge (Dale and Dave). They fed and housed us in a super comfy house. See more..

I have only been there once. You have to drive right to the park entrance, unload, then move your vehicle to the parking lot. There is a short walk down to the beach and the dive site is only a 50 foot swim. I dove the wall right off the beach, it is great for all skill levels, with lots of cool life to be found in the upper plateau (50ft or so). It was mirky down to 10 feet, then below 25 feet it was very clear. I dove to 100 feet, and there was more to go, but, there was so much to see on the wall. It was an easy hover slowly ascending looking at everything. Amazing dive. The locals were also very nice.... The only negative was lugging gear up and down. See more..
