Came here on a weekend for a brunch and a stroll along the lake. COVID signage in place, however not being followed with regards to social distancing & groups exceeding 20 people. Affordable paid vehicle parking ($3. / hr.). We did like the sites & sounds of the waterfront, just recommend that you come during quieter time, possibly a weekday. See more..

    Tsek Hot Springs image
Adjacent to the Lillooet River, in the Pemberton Volcanic Belt, you will find Tsek Hot Springs and the sacred location of the In-SHUCK-ch and St’át’imc people (nkúkwtsa) of British Columbia. The nkúkwtsa established a permanent village of (s7)ístken (pit houses) and plank houses along the banks of the Lillooet River, and a series of trails through the nearby forests to hunting grounds and neighbouring villages. The mineral hot springs at Tsek provided our ancestors with physical and spiritual wellness, while the loose, sandy nature of the soil made the cedar tree roots grow long and straight. Tsek’s hot and cold springs became the most important spiritual site in the lower Lillooet River Valley. It is said that the cool spring served as a healing pool where the Elder mothers trained men to be chiefs, watchmen, and other important positions in the In-SHUCK-ch Nation. Pronounced “chick”, Tsek Hot Springs (also known as Skookumchuck Hot Springs and St. Agnes’ Well Hot Springs) has continuously been occupied and utilized by the St’át’imc people as a location to heal and cleanse the body and spirit centuries before Europeans arrived along our shores. the pluses include fabulous views of snow covered mountains and the amazing snowscape will take your breath away. I saw a majestic frozen waterfall. pretty rigorous for a first timer in snowshoeing. the minuses are the few sharp cliffs you will have to get up and down to get to the hot springs, the water was way too hot and i couldn't get more than my toes in despite cooling it down with snow. zero phone signals so bring along your walkie talkies if u need to communicate with team mates. Be sure to bring your own lunch. not good for kids. probably for friends or couples. See more..
  5. 3.0 Clear Creek Hot Springs (3 reviews)
    - Mountainside hot springs
Spent 1-2 hours Bodies of Water • Hot Springs & Geysers
    Clear Creek Hot Springs image
We took an ATV to the hot springs for a soak. There were quite a few people camping in the area along the river. There is a change room but not bathrooms. The walkways can be very slippery. There are 3 tubs set in nature. The 3rd tub is wooden and is the coolest in temperature. The water was full of floaters so I wonder about how clean it is. See more..
