    - Interesting

    Aberdeen Centre image
My first time in an Asian mall and I wasn't sure what to expect. It's very much like a Western mall, just different stores and restaurants. There was an interesting Lego display near the dancing fountains. And there's a huge store that's basically a $2 store (some items are more) - and it goes onto 2 stories. If I had a larger suitcase..... See more..

On Aug 9 2021 the Canadian border was open again for fully vaccinated people. On aug 11th we came up to bc to visit immediate family/parents that had not seen ,in person in like 20 months. On Friday the 13th lol we decided our First Canadian outing would be to this center. We love it as it has everything in one place. A great Asian grocery store and stocked up on Asian and Japanese stuff as was lucky to go to Tokyo fall of 2019 and do not think will be back soon. The food court was amazing and had literally too much to choose from. We tried a place for lunch in the food court and then before leaving grabbed enough for dinner for all. I am guessing cause we had luck with them and then bought off dinner the piled up the dishes way mor than Normal and the food was amazing. Can’t wait as we return in Oct and will go here again See more..

Love going outside and walking to the stores. Stopped by at Cafe Artigiano's and was really disappointed at the service. Had to wait almost 15 minutes for a coffee and it wasn't even busy. See more..
  10. 4.0 Semiahmoo Shopping Centre (8 reviews)
    - Good amenities, throwback
    Spent 2-3 hours Shopping Malls
The first time I stepped into this mall, I was transported back to the 1980s - the decor, the layout, the store selection. For a local, this mall is all about getting errands done (ie. it's attached to a large grocery store; alterations; keys cut; etc.) There are stores that appeal to White Rock's high senior population (shoes, tea, independent clothing stores), and a few old-school chain holdouts such as the Body Shop, Purdy's Chocolates, Murchie's. Food fair is usual mall stuff, nothing exciting. I find it a really pleasant and soothing experience- it's not a place for teens, high fashion or high energy. Watch the parking lot - lots of seniors on walkers, and seniors driving. See more..

  12. 3.0 Rupert Square Mall (4 reviews)
    - Definitely Dated
Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Shopping Malls
    Rupert Square Mall image
Seems as though the vast majority of chains that are in town are located here. Walmart (no change rooms!), RBC, TD, The Source, Dollarama are all here. I was looking forward to a nostalgic trip to Field’s but Anytime Fitness has apparently taken its place. The mall could definitely use a refresh but I appreciated one of the storefronts appears to be available for those who want to do things like mini markets and pop up shops. I’m not sure how often it’s utilized but it seems like a great way to support locals. See more..
