We (a family with 2 teenage boys) hired 4 bikes over 3 days from Arbutus. They were a mixture of Yeti and Knollys. We booked in advance (recommended). On arrival in the shop, the staff were great and our breaks and pedals were set up and ready for us to go. Sadly on the second day I injured myself (putting my bike on the lift) and couldn't ride on the last day, we didn't expect it but Arbutus gave me a refund for my bike hire - certainly made me feel better and paid for a physio session. A truly fantastic experience. We are four experienced mountain bikers - our trip was a helicopter trip up the mountain and then a 5 hour ride down, guided by a professional rider. It was just amazing and fair value for money, Our guide Liam was brilliant - he appreciated what we wanted, assessed our skills and abilities and tailored our ride accordingly. It goes without saying that the helicopter drop was a 'once in a lifetime' type feature although we'd all be very keen to do it again ! The guy who manages this place, brendan, is awesome and super friendly. If you wanna traverse bowen island with ease and have a good time, i definitely will recommend renting an e-bike from here. All the e-bikes were pretty much new and they were easy to use.See more..

Booked the Bear Raft River Drift with Kynoch. Was in contact with Fraser via email and he was very prompt with his replies and was very helpful to get us on a Raft Drift. We went on the late afternoon and within the first 10mins we saw a bear and we kept seeing them. Fraser knew where they were and was very patient to wait for the bears to come to us. Fraser has a ton of knowledge of bear behaviors, history, stories and community interactions with the bears. He was very educational which was some of the best part of the trip. I really appreciated Frasers respect for the bears and giving them their space and his confidence in being so close to the bears on the river. I had total trust in him navigating us through the river. I highly recommend this company and when I'm back in Bella Coola again I will do the Raft Drift again.See more..

There are many mountains and places, where horses take you to. Staying at the ranch with horses is rich and in large unknown experience! Guides are lovely, friendly and most important hard working to make the best of your trip. There is a lot of work to be done, however and many facilities, such as gazibos, canopies, benches should be built to improve areas around the ranch and at the camps, which the government should paint the money for.See more..

We spent a magical 7 days with Yoho Adventures on the Cariboo Chilcontin Coast trip in beautiful British Colombia this past August and cannot say enough wonderful things about the whole experience. Every moment of the trip far succeed our expectations -- the scenery, the wildlife, the fresh air, .. and the food!!! Cristina and Ben go over the top -- there is no detail they havent thought of. They take you along the road less travelled so you dont feel like you're on yet another tourist trip and are so knowledgeable about all of their surroundings. Truly a unique experience, one we will forever remember. We will most definitely book another trip with Cristina & Ben and are already planning our next vacation to New Zealand to do some single track mountain biking with them!See more..
