Me and my friend are from Ireland and went on a bluewater rockies fishing trip and had a great time the fishing was top class chris is a very good trip organiser and his team of guides are excellent as soon as we had the dates set chris had all set out and planed. We had two guides jamey and pat. Jamey was only with us for the first day but in just that short time we had a blast with him. But for the rest of your 2 week fishing trip we were with pat how was fantastic he give us tips on the way we should fish certain places and different techniques lots of good pointers and tips. And if anyone was like me and thinking that they only want to fish for salmon give this men and women 1 or 2 days and you will be hooked on stergen fishing it is madness lol. The fishing experience we had with Sturgeon Slayers was hands down, second to none! We highly recommend them to anyone considering a fishing trip on BCs Fraser River. You will not be disappointed! Communication was excellent from beginning to end, and Jay, our guide for both days of this amazing experience, was the perfect balance between friendly and professional. His knowledge and skill were obvious in every aspect of this trip, and he truly gave us the experience of a lifetime. In our two days of fishing we were served a tasty hot lunch each day (an option at additional cost), we enjoyed easy conversation, and the action was steady, seeing us bring in several sizeable sturgeon, three of them being over 8 feet. What a magical experience for my 1st attempt at Kayaking. I could have spent the whole day just fishing on the edge of Paradise Lake it is truly beautiful. I especially liked that you did not want any of the pop to be poured out onto the beach sand, rather securing it and transporting the left-over back to the airport for proper drainage. I took over 75 photos, but cut them down to just over 50 last night. I can't wait for the drone photos that Compass Heli Tours took during the tour. Thank you Nic. My husband & I took our son and his son, so 3 generations, on this one day sturgeon fishing trip. We had an amazing & successful day of fishing. The weather was great and Yves was a fantastic fishing guide. He knew all the right spots to take us. If you think you’re going to have to bate the hook and get all fish stinky, get that out of your mind cause he does it all. You just have to sit back and wait for that fish to take the bait and then it’s time for you to do the work. My husband and I are 66 yrs old and our grandson was 13 yrs old and we were all quite capable of hauling in the fish. We caught 6 sturgeon ranging from 4 1/2ft long to 6 1/2 ft. Late Aug 2022 we spend a day with Captain Alan at Wildfish Charters. I want to start by saying Alan is such an amazing Man. I took my 8 and 10 year old daughters for their first ocean fishing charter. Alan was so patient teaching them, was warm, welcoming to them and made them smile all day. He made their day magical by getting them on the fish and making it fun. As a father watching the kids / Alan interact, laugh, smile and high five every time they landed a fish was priceless. Alan keeps his boat organized, clean and is amazing at what he does. I would highly recommend him. . I have fished Prince Rupert multiple times and historically on guys trips had guides that are heavy smokers, gruff men, cursed and yelled. I was really nervous to take my family. After researching may guides in Prince Rupert Wildfish charters had many recommendations as family friendly. I can personally say they are as professional as they come. My family and I have enjoyed 2 excursions with this company and both times have been fantastic! Top notch boats and equipment as well as experienced and knowledgeable guides, both Frank and Tony, ensure a wonderful adventure whether it is sturgeon fishing or eagle viewing. Never once did we feel rushed and were rewarded with great photos and even better memories. All of us caught sturgeon, several in fact, and enjoyed releasing them back once they were tagged. Conservation is very important to BCSG and they are informative on this matter too. On the eagle tour, there were too many to count as well as a couple of Blue Heron who graced our views. I contacted Mike D at Prestige Sportfishing to book a trip for 4 as a surprise for my Mom and Dad's 65th birthday. Mike replied almost instantly and accommodated my request to have the guide pick us up at our campsite on Harrison River. Our guide John arrived on time and had rods in the water within minutes of boarding the boat. Within a half hour we had hooked into a 6 foot sturgeon and John displayed great knowledge and appreciation these prehistoric fish and took photos of my brother and I with the fish. We caught two more fish this morning, a 7 footer and a 7'6" monster both of which we had to beach the boat in order to land the fish. John had waders for us to wear and took more photos as ultimate souvenirs. I would definitely recommend Prestige Sportfishing. Remember, you have to book early for any activity like this. Great day out We were greeted with staff that aided in where to park, parking was reasonable as we had read all about Bruker Marina on the website. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The boat launch is one of the best in the area and clearly marked easy access to the lake. Pizza there is great and a must have! We rented a boat for a half a day. The boat was clean and fueled and the staff spent the time to go over everything and give us the rules! We were very informed and everything went smoothly. Rentals were reasonably priced , they gave a demo when the kids wanted to paddle board, which they genuinely enjoyed! As did our family from Alberta!!!See more..
Another fabulous fishing experience with Go Fish Charters. Regan and Sylvie are very knowledgable and generous with their expertise. Their boat is a great place for young anglers learning the ropes. This year they held my 12 year old son in the boat and coached him through reeling in a 22 pound Chinook Salmon. And then repeated with an 18 pounder half an hour later. Unbelievable. They are also very nice people and a lot of fun. We had a fun time bottom bouncing. A big bag of prawns was the icing on the cake. We'll be back again next summer.See more..
Great way to finish up a father son weekend at Sun Peaks!! Wally was a fantastic guide. The pontoon boat was a great fishing platform for families. We saw a ton of eagles and an osprey. We planned the trip of a lifetime and Lakes District Air provided it perfectly. Tesla Lake fishing lodge was the focal point of our trip to Canada. Everything else fell in to place around it. The Cabin was very remote, just what we had been searching for. Not a soul to be seen for our entire time at the cabin as Tesla lake is virtually impossible to get to other than by floatplane. The cabin was very comfortable and we spent many hours just staring out at the lake or exploring the lake in the boats provided. Most people come to Tesla Lake to fish, we came to enjoy the remote location and solitude and we got everything we could possibly have hoped for. If you want to experience real escapism Lake District Air's Tesla Lake cabin is just perfect.See more..

It can accommodate at least a dozen people but it was great to have it to ourselves. First we dropped some crab traps and then discussed where we could go. Brek is very flexible and explained the options. We decided on the South Bentinck arm: we went to the hot springs, saw the beautiful water falls, crossed to the east shore and hiked into see the big cedar tree (almost 2,000 years old, about a 1 hr hike), had a picnic lunch and sped back until we saw a couple of bears on the shore and stopped to watch them. The sun was shining, it was warm and we had a most enjoyable day. We had the hot springs to ourselves and never saw anyone else, anywhere. Finally, we picked up some crab.
