  1. 4.5 Ogden Point Terminal & Breakwater (927 reviews)
    - The view helped me put things into perspective

Definitely add this to your itinerary when visiting Victoria. It's a bit of a long walk from the start of the walkway to the furthest end where the lighthouse is situated, but absolutely worth it. The view is both spectacular and calming, especially in the late afternoons. Sitting on the bench beneath the lighthouse, gazing out into the vast expanse of water made me introspective Dress appropriately as it can be windy and chilly, depending on the time of year you visit. I went early May, and luckily was layered up so I didn't have to boycott my walk. Also, this is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, so it can be crowded sometimes. See more..

    Shuswap Marina image
We launched our boat here for $15. The boat launch is great. We also bought our Shuswap souvenirs here-hoodies and a hat. A few days later we returned on the boat to rent a towable (hot dog) and a FAD board (kneeboard/wakeboard). (Reasonable prices!!) The staff was excellent. So friendly. We also filled the boat up twice. Self serve but staff was helpful. I highly recommend this marina! See more..
